Pizza Hut has introduced a new ramen pizza that’s based upon the “Jiro” style of ramen. However, Pizza Hut hopefuls outside of Japan will need to get on a plane to try it out for themselves, as it’s currently only available in the one country.
Pizza Hut has had no shortage of unusual releases over the years that are designed to stir up interest, like surprising customers with the introduction of a Pizza Hut wine that came out in 2024. The company has also had many collaborations with third parties, including anime or video games like Genshin Impact, but this particular pizza is nonetheless unusual.

In Japan, Pizza Hut has unveiled its Jiro-style ramen pizza, with a name that can be translated as “Pork Hut Thick-Cut Rich Backfat Soy Sauce Ramen Pizza.” Jiro-style ramen is a bit different than what many ramen enthusiasts might be used to, as bowls of Jiro-style ramen are typically served with way more toppings than standard ramen varieties, including multiple eggs, plenty of chashu pork, and lots of bean sprouts. In an effort to emulate that style of ramen, this Pizza Hut creation not only has actual ramen noodles piled on the crust, but also includes cabbage, chashu pork, pork back fat, and a sauce base that’s made from garlic and pork bones. Needless to say, it’s a very indulgent pizza, so Pizza Hut is also offering a Oolong Tea combo to help break down the richness.
Pizza Hut Fans Can’t Wait Too Long on Ramen Pizza
The pizza will set buyers back 2,940 yen with the tea or 2,750 without it for delivery, or roughly $19.47 or $18.21, respectively. Those who find themselves in the region can also get a discount if they pick up the pizza instead of having it delivered. While this isn’t the first time that Pizza Hut has offered a ramen pizza, this particular flavor will only be available for just over a month. The pizza went on sale on February 3, and will disappear from Pizza Hut stores on March 9. Limited-time food creations like these are very common in Japan, making it hard to resist trying them out.
Unfortunately for ramen enthusiasts in the west, it would seem there’s no plan to bring a ramen pizza outside of Japan. While it might be an interesting novelty for some Japanese food enthusiasts, it might not be able to sell well enough to make it worthwhile to Pizza Hut locations in other countries. Even collabs between fast food chains and iconic anime tend to remain in Japan, so ramen enthusiasts probably shouldn’t hold their breath for this Pizza Hut creation to arrive elsewhere.
