For comparison, they also show the real-life Duomo Di Firenze before transitioning to time-lapsed footage of their build. The YouTuber begins with the front of the Florence Cathedral before working their way to the back of the building, then placing the iconic dome atop the chapel area and returning to the entrance to finalize the process with the adjacent bell tower. The most detailed section of this recreation is the front of the cathedral, which includes a big circular stained-glass window near the top.

Specifically, he points to the little green lines that appear bigger in the build compared to its real-life counterpart. “I kind of used a little bit more green than I wanted to,” said Bubbaflubba during the time-lapsed version of the build process. Bubbaflubba utilized the WorldEdit mod to make the symmetry of the cathedral easier to mimic with its copy-pasting capabilities. According to Bubbaflubba, the main dome required multiple different iterations before they were happy with it.
