Here is how you can improve your reputation in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
It tells you to “reforge the sword you’ve been searching for,” without explaining what sword that is. Thankfully, once you know what sword the game is talking about, doing what you need to do is nice and simple. You’ll get the sword as part of the story, you just need to wait.
How To Unlock The Reforged Trophy/Achievement
In short, you need to reforge a particular sword at a Smithy to unlock the Reforged trophy/achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. You need to reforge the sword called Radzig Koblya’s Sword.
You cannot buy the sword, but will instead get it about a third of the way into the story, once you come face to face with Istvan Toth. The sword is the one he stole from your father, and Henry wants it back.
Once you have the sword, you’ll be able to reforge it at a Smithy. That just means making it for yourself. Head to any Smithy in the game – they should be in most towns – and you will be able to start the process.
You cannot reforge the Radzig Koblya’s Sword once you’ve beaten the game. For reasons we don’t want to spoil, the sword is renamed Henry’s Longsword once you’ve finished the story, and that stops you being able to reforge it.
At a Smithy, interact with the anvil and you’ll be able to choose what you’ll like to make. Tab over to Longswords and you’ll see Reforged Radzig Koblya’s Sword as an option to craft. You need the following to make it:
- Radzig Koblya’s Sword
- Three Toledo Steel
You’ll be able to buy Toledo Steel from any Blacksmith. It’ll cost around 20-30 Groschen each, so it’s not as cheap as other materials.
Select that sword to start making it. The process works like making any other sword – heat it, hit it with the hammer, and repeat – but it’s easier to fail the process. Be sure to keep the sword hot and shining bright throughout the smithing process.
Keeping causing sparks to fly off the metal and Henry will eventually say that it’s complete. You’ll now have a shiny new Radzig Koblya’s Sword to use and the Reforged trophy or achievement will pop.
Reforging the Radzig Koblya’s Sword will replace the one you have. You cannot carry multiple at the same time.
