Sekhema’s Resolve Ring is a Unique Ring in Path of Exile 2. It can only be obtained by defeating one of the most powerful pinnacle bosses in the entire game. On top of that, it is only obtainable if this boss is defeated while the player is severely handicapped.

It’s easy to see that obtaining it is not an easy task and requires an endgame ready character with excellent gear, a really high level, and the skills to back it all up. Here’s the breakdown.

The Sekhema’s Resolve
Ring is a Unique Ring that is an exclusive drop for defeating Zarokh, the Temporal, the final boss of The Trial of the Sekhemas’ fourth floor. Zarokh, the Temporal has a challenge mechanic that makes it so whenever he is defeated during a run with a one-time-use Unique Relic activated, he drops a guaranteed Unique item from his exclusive loot table, depending on the Relic used. To get the Sekhema’s Resolve Ring, you need to use The Burden of Leadership
Relic.

When activated, The Burden of Leadership makes it so “All Rooms are Unknown on the Trial map.” This is the same effect as the Veiled Sight (Major Affliction), which prevents you from seeing any details about the rooms in the trial—including the room type, affliction type, and reward type. This is one of the worst Afflictions to get and makes a run significantly harder.

How to Farm The Burden of Leadership Unique Relic in PoE 2

All Unique Relics, including The Burden of Leadership, are random drops for defeating Zarokh, the Temporal during any run. While you cannot influence which Unique Relic Zarokh drops, you can increase the drop rate of Unique Relics by two means:

  1. Stack “Increased Rarity of Items Found” on gear.
  2. Place Relics with the “#% Increased Quantity of Relics Dropped By Monsters” stat in the Djinn Barya before starting the run.

If you get lucky and get the Enchanted Urn Minor Boon during the course of the run, you’ll increase the effectiveness of your non-Unique Relics by 30%, a huge boost to the drop rate.

Zarokh, the Temporal can only be encountered through Level 75+ Djinn Baryas (Four Floors).

Alternatively, you can get any Unique Relic through the official PoE 2 trade site. But if you’re going to go this route, it’s better to buy the Sekhema’s Resolve Ring outright instead.

How to Use Sekhema’s Resolve Ring

There are three types of Sekhema’s Resolve Rings.

  1. Sekhema’s Resolve Ring (Ruby)
  2. Sekhema’s Resolve Ring (Emerald)
  3. Sekhema’s Resolve Ring (Sapphire)

Any variant of Sekhema’s Resolve will allow the player to socket a Jewel inside of it, adding the effects of the Jewel on top of the Ring’s stats. However, a Sekhema’s Resolve Ring (Ruby) will only allow you to socket a Ruby Jewel inside it; Sapphires or Emeralds are off the table. The same is the case for the other two. The benefits of the Ring are self-evident. It’s like having an extra Jewel Socket to play around with without the hassle of having to spend extra points in the Passive Skill tree.

Unique Jewels cannot be socketed into a Sekhema’s Resolve Ring.

To socket a Jewel in Sekhema’s Resolve, simply left-click the Jewel, hover over the ring, and left-click again to place the Jewel inside. You can freely swap Jewels at any time by right-clicking the Jewel and taking it out.
