Brewing potions in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 requires you to have all the right ingredients on hand. Comfrey is a type of flower that’s used for a number of potion recipes, and given the size of the game’s world, finding them can be challenging.

Luckily, there are a number of spots in the Troskowitz region where players can get Comfrey for free. If you’re looking to make some potions or make progress in quests like Miri Fajta in KCD2, here’s where you can snatch some Comfrey without any consequences.

A bow is a great option for taking enemies out from a safe distance in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2; here’s where to get one for free, and buy others.

Best Early Comfrey Location in KCD2

Comfrey is a type of herb with flowers of a white and purple color. The best spot to find some is right inside Troskowitz — specifically, in the apothecary’s garden right in the middle of town. From Troskowitz’s fast travel point, turn around, and enter the apothecary’s property in front of the general store. No one will give you any grievance for doing so, and better yet, you can pick any of their flowers without consequence.

Apart from this, you can also find Comfrey along banks near bodies of water as well as some ditches near fields. Some good places to look are the banks of the ponds near Zhelejov. Fast travel to the Zhelejov Wagoner’s Inn and follow the road leading northwest. You can find a patch of Comfrey near the Overturned Cart POI. If you need more, you can head southwest of the Zhelejov Wagoner’s Inn and check the banks of the stream where the roads intersect.

Additionally, the apothecaries in Truskowitz and Kuttenberg may sell Comfrey for a decent price. If you’re all out of flowers to pick, buying them is your best bet until they grow back.

Once you’ve found Mutt in KCD2, you can use Aesop to increase your Houndmaster skills and make Mutt more effective for a short period of time. He can help you fend off attackers, track people, and hunt animals. The higher you Houndmaster skill, the better Mutt becomes at the things he does best.
