Players will need to destroy 21 Dead-eye Targets in Sniper Elite: Resistance in order to get one of the game’s many achievements/trophies. These Dead-eye Targets are also known as Stone Eagles in the game. There are 3 Stone Eagles present in every mission, except mission 1 and mission 9.
There are many other types of collectibles for players to seek out in Sniper Elite: Resistance, and many of them will come with trophies/achievements of their own. What separates Stone Eagles from other collectibles is that players will need to scope out the environment for anything that glistens — besides enemy snipers.

28 Best Open-World Games With Third-Person Shooter Gameplay, Ranked
Open-world games are inescapable, but which are the best titles that also have third-person shooter gameplay?
All Stone Eagles for Mission 2 in Sniper Elite: Resistance
All 3 of these Stone Eagles can be found from a single spot on the map. Once the mission starts, players will want to follow the road until they come to a bridge. They will see a path on the left side of the bridge that goes downward. They can use this path to gain access to the rest of the map by one of two options. Both leading to one of the game’s Propaganda Posters as an indicator of where to go next.
The first option is to go right and pry open some wooden boards. They will then follow a tunnel that will lead them to a room with a ladder. Climb up this ladder and pick the lock of the gate directly ahead. Alternately, players can stay to the left and climb up some vines. This will lead them to the same area as the ladder. Players will then see a Propaganda Poster.
Head to the top of the stairs where this poster is to find a viewpoint where all 3 Dead-eye Targets can be spotted.Kill the enemy at the top of the stairs, and then aim down their scope at each Stone Eagle in the locations marked in the image above. Players can get all 3 of these Stone Eagles before setting their sights on the remaining collectibles of mission 2.
All Stone Eagles for Mission 3 in Sniper Elite: Resistance
The next map also has one of these perfect vantage points for scoping out all 3 Stone Eagles. Pliers will want to move onto the train tracks located on the east side of the map, and then head south along these tracks. Players can shorten this trip by using the metal stairs and running to this spot from the starting location.
This spot will let players mark all 3 Stone Eagles before taking their shots and checking them off their list. The first one will be in the direction of the map’s starting location. The second will be next to a Nazi banner on a square-shaped building. The third Stone Eagle will be to the right of the second one with a tower on its right.
If players are doing a collectables run for mission 3, it would be best to get these 3 Stone Eagles out of the way from this position. The first Stone Eagle can be blocked from many angles, and players may find themselves needing to make their way to this viewpoint just to pick it up after collecting everything else.

Players looking for great third-person shooter action but don’t want to break the bank can enjoy the following titles for quite some time.
All Stone Eagles for Mission 4 in Sniper Elite: Resistance
Once players start at the default starting location for Mission 4, they will want to take the zipline to the platform below. They will then make their way up the path and onto the ridge overlooking the crumbling towers. From here, they can mark 2 of the Stone Eagles.
One on the crumbling tower, and one on the dam. The Stone Eagle by the dam can be particularly hard to spot, so be sure to make note of its location using the images above. After taking both of these shots, players will want to turn around and head towards the lumberyard. They can now mark the final Stone Eagle towards the north.
This is the usual route players will take anyway when playing through this mission, making these Stone Eagles the first collectibles of Mission 4 players can check off their list.
All Stone Eagles for Mission 5 in Sniper Elite: Resistance
Devils Cauldron does not offer players an ideal location near their starting location like the missions above. Instead, players will need to maneuver around in order to get all 3 Stone Eagles. The first Stone Eagle sits on top of the lighthouse, which is also where they can get their longest kill shot from the other side of the map.
The second Stone Eagle sits on one of the large metal cranes with an enemy sniper on it. The final Stone Eagle will be on the top right side of the train tunnel, located on the north side of the map. Plates will need to run here on foot to get the right angle.
It can be hard to spot Stone Eagles when things are so dark. Especially when hunting collectibles for a dark map like Mission 5 — so don’t zoom in too much. Stone Eagles will shimmer, so having the whole metal crane or lighthouse top will allow players to see the shimmer before they know where the Stone Eagle is.
All Stone Eagles for Mission 6 in Sniper Elite: Resistance
The moment players start this mission, they can mark all 3 Stone Eagles in the area. Making it a perfect way to start when going after all the collectibles for mission 6. This map is also a lot brighter than the last one, making spotting these eagles far less daunting.
Players can pull out their binoculars and mark each of them, then switch to their rifle. Players wanting to really test their skill can even try to make these shots with a pistol, which can have up to 6x zoom.

All Stone Eagles for Mission 7 in Sniper Elite: Resistance
Lock, Stock, and Barrels is a mission players will need to play till the end of the map in order to get all the Stone Eagles. If players already beat the game, they can check these Stone Eagles off their list during their Authentic run. The first Stone Eagle sits at the top of the main building. They can get this near the start of the mission.
The second Stone Eagle will be sitting at the top of the windmill with one of the enemy snipers. The third Stone Eagle, however, will need players to progress through the main objectives all the way to the final area of the map. Players will find it on a chimney to the left of the enemy tank. It is best to get all other collectibles for Mission 7 before getting the third Stone Eagle.
All Stone Eagles for Mission 8 in Sniper Elite: Resistance
Players start the final mission from the highest point of the map. This is another map that provides players with a clear view of all 3 Stone Eagles for when they start their collectibles run of Mission 8. The Eagle on the west side sits behind a chimney from the default starting location — but can still be hit.
The second Stone Eagle sits in front of a search light. The final Stone Eagle is between these 2 and can easily blend into the background. Players may need to adjust their brightness or their PC settings if they have a hard time seeing it.
