Luckily, despite its placement as one of the latter areas in the game, you can expect the enemies in White Whiskers to be fairly straightforward, like the Backstabber Beast Hunt.

Sky Scorchers terrorize the ratdom after the main quest is over.
At this point in the game, you’ve likely upgraded your arsenal to include weapons that cover each of the four major Elementa: Fire, Ice, Electric, and Poison, which will help make Ice Breaker much easier. Proper preparation is half the battle in Tails Of Iron 2, so having a variety of strong weapons to draw from will make even the toughest Beast Hunts seem easy.
How To Start Ice Breaker
Once you’ve made your way through the Beast Hunts in The Outskirts, The Rift, and The Golden Forest, White Whiskers has another set of bosses to hunt and kill.
Head into the rightmost hut in The Warren where you can speak to the White Whiskers Hunter about a frost Death March that has been plaguing their village.
Your first stop on this hunt will direct you back toward the area between the White Whiskers Docks and The Warren – both locations are one section away from your destination, so head there whichever way you prefer.
If you proceed from The Warren, you’ll pass a merchant where you can restock traps and other items if need be.
How To Defeat The Frost Death March
Once there, a frost Death March will appear and attack you. Equip your best electric and fire weapons to deal extra damage to this giant insect.
With proper preparation and the use of your most powerful fire weapons, this Death March will prove a very minor challenge, so long as you avoid its deadly dive and tail whip combo attack.
Once you deplete one section of its HP bar (less than the usual 33 percent), it will flee to the area of the map directly below this one, reached by passing through the archway to the right of this area.
How To Beat The Frost Death March Phase Two
Follow the marked area on your map, and you’ll find a whisker dangling from a bridge.
Attempt to save the rabbit, but you’ll be ambushed by the Death March, which opens using a leaping attack and follows it up with a tail slam on the ground behind it.
Dodge toward the Death March’s backside and use your two-handed weapon to deal massive damage.
When the Death March rolls toward you, wait until just before it reaches you to dodge past it and avoid damage completely. The timing can be tighter than usual, but it’s not impossible.
Deplete its HP until only 33 percent remains, at which point the monster flees again, giving you a moment to save the dangling whisker.
How To Beat The Frost Death March Phase Three
Head to the right and restock at the merchant if needed, then go up the platforms and ladder until you can progress further right into the next area in The Ice Field.
When you arrive, a mole will warn you about a trap, at which point the frost Death March will burst out of the ground beneath your feet.
Waste no time in slashing at it with your best fire or electric two-handed weapon, which should produce fantastic results, especially if you buff yourself with a Whetstone before engaging.
Avoid the dangerous diving attack and tail whip combos the Death March relies on, and soon it will be defeated – it’s much weaker than previous enemies, like the Toadcor from The Rift.
With the Death March defeated, loot the Giant Death March Ice Tail from the beast before continuing to the end of the side quest.
What Rewards Do You Get From Ice Breaker?
After its defeat, head further right and speak to the mole to complete the side quest, earning you the following rewards:
- 35 Gold
- Two Giant Death March Ice Antennae
- One Death March Ice Tail
This concludes Ice Breaker, leaving one more Beast Hunt side quest to tackle in White Whiskers.
