Trelawny Can Be Heard With His Wife and Sons in Saint Denis
- Location: Up the stairs of the building between the Photo Studio and Doctor’s Office
Not much is known about Josiah Trelawny, except for the fact that he always seems to turn up when the gang least expects it. He’s a hard man to reach, but always reliable when it comes to the leads he brings to Dutch Van der Linde. However, Trelawny’s privacy is exactly why he’s so hard to find, and it seems there’s reason for that, as he has a wife and two sons.
Suppose players venture to the upper buildings on Saint Denis, just North of the doctor’s office. In that case, players can listen in on a conversation between Trelawny and his wife, and it will even open a secret conversation between him and Arthur back at camp.

Aztec Fortune in Blackwater
Translating the Aztec Symbols is Bad News for John Marston
- Location: South West building’s wall in Blackwater
Scattered around the walls and rooftops of Blackwater in West Elizabeth, John Marston will spot a few Aztec symbols that catch his eye, which he can jot down in his journal. If players are to find all of these symbols and translate them for themselves, then they will get the message: Blessed are the Peacemakers – Ayauhteotl.
What’s ominous about this discovery is that Blessed are the Peacemakers is exactly what’s written on John Marston’s grave, and even more disturbing, is the fact that Ayauhteotl is the Aztec deity that helps John Marston fix the zombie apocalypse in Undead Nightmare. Do these writings confirm Ayauhteotl’s existence, and her knowing of John’s fate years prior?

Vetter’s Echo
A Cabin in West Elizabeth Holds a Grizzly Surprise
- Location: South of Little Creek River, above the ‘W’ in West Elizabeth
Just South of Little Creek River in West Elizabeth, players will find a lonely cabin worth exploring. Usually, it’s not a good idea to explore lonely cabins, especially when they are isolated in the woods, for who knows what dangerous hermit resides here? As it turns out, that rings true even more so with this cabin, as opening the door reveals a grizzly surprise.
The surprise in question? A literal hulking and starving bear that will immediately attack and potentially kill Arthur Morgan who steps inside. It’s quite the unexpected jumpscare, and rather hilarious to survive and see the gaping hole in the wall from behind the cabin that shows how the bear got inside in the first place.

Ammolite & Flourite
Two Rare Minerals That Aren’t Worth Much Except the Experience
- Location: Between the ‘I’ and ‘Z’ in Grizzlies East
North-West of O’Creagh’s Run in the Grizzlies East, players can scale a mountain for a dangerous journey with a not-so-satisfying reward. Found within the eagle’s nest on a mountain, players can help themselves to some ammolite and fluorite, two rare gems that can be found nowhere else in the game for their collection.
It’s a rare find indeed due to the parkour required, and how one small slip and players are definitely going to fall to their deaths. However, it’s not entirely worth it when one considers each mineral can be sold for a measly $25, meaning Arthur would’ve risked his life for $50.
