Black Ops 6’s The Tomb marked its debut for Season 2, serving as the second map to arrive as part of the post-launch content for Black Ops 6. The Tomb, in essence, plays much like a bonus map, just like Liberty Falls, throwing players into an excavation site complete with eerie temple ruins and claustrophobic tunnels.
Those diving into The Tomb for the first time will likely find themselves preoccupied with battling the undead, getting to the Pack-a-Punch Machine, and charting out their next course of action. However, with enough time, they can progress onto the map’s series of Easter Eggs. The Tomb is home to a variety of creative Easter Eggs for players to progress through, some playing key roles in the story, while others serve as fun secrets to uncover. Here is a guide to every Easter Egg in The Tomb.

Wall-buys are an excellent way to outfit the player’s arsenal in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Here are all the wall-buys on The Tomb.
Main Easter Egg Quest
First up is The Tomb’s main Easter Egg quest, where our band of misfits venture into an excavation site within the Principality of Avalon. Armed with the Obscurus Altilium Amulet—which they acquired on Citadelle Des Morts—our ex-Requiem members embark on a mission to obtain the Sentinel Artifact in hopes of rescuing Samantha Maxis from the Dark Aether.
The initial steps of this quest are among the easiest in the series so far. Still, the boss fight is significantly challenging, with even powerful explosive weapons like Mustang and Sally proving ineffective.
For completing the main Easter Egg in The Tomb, players will earn the X91 Ice-Pike skin for the Staff of Ice, 5,000 XP, and an exclusive Classified Calling Card—available only to those who complete it before the arrival of Directed Mode. For those looking for guidance during their Easter Egg run, refer to our comprehensive guide here.
The Staff Of Ice
A crucial step in completing the main quest is acquiring the Staff of Ice, a returning Wonder Weapon that first debuted in Origins during Black Ops 2. This powerful weapon has the ability to freeze enemies in their tracks and plays a key role in several main Easter Egg steps. However, obtaining the Staff of Ice can be a challenging process, requiring players to solve multiple puzzles to build it.
For those looking to acquire this iconic Wonder Weapon and upgrade it into Ull’s Arrow, refer to our dedicated guide on the Staff of Ice here.
Free Power-Ups
Free Power-Ups have become a recurring feature in every Black Ops 6 Zombies map so far, and The Tomb is no exception. With a total of eight power-ups—ranging from the Nuke to a free Fire Sale—players have plenty of opportunities to gain an advantage while taking on the undead horde. Each power-up is hidden in obscure locations throughout The Tomb, making them tricky to find.
Finding and shooting each power-up is the key to collecting them. For those looking to track down every power-up, refer to our dedicated guide here, which details the exact locations of each one.
Music Easter Egg
Next up is an Easter Egg that, while not offering players an in-game reward, allows them to jam out to some tunes while battling the undead. The Tomb’s Music Easter Egg can be activated by locating and interacting with three Mr. Peeks Headsets that are hidden throughout the map. Once all three have been found, Dig by Kevin Sherwood will begin playing.
For those struggling to find each Mr. Peeks Headset, head to this guide here, which details the exact locations.
Free Self Revive Kit & Light Mend Ammo Mod Easter Egg
A free Self-Revive Kit is an absolute steal in The Tomb, especially given how easy it is to get trapped in its tight corridors. Scattered throughout the map are ten urns, each of which can be shattered with a single shot. Once all ten urns have been destroyed, players will be rewarded with a free Self-Revive Kit and the Lightly Mend Ammo Mod, saving them from spending a few thousand Salvage.
For those looking to locate each urn, refer to our comprehensive guide, which provides detailed locations for all ten.
Simon Says Easter Egg
The roster of Easter Eggs in Black Ops 6 Zombies may just be some of the most challenging puzzles in the franchise, and for those looking to challenge their memory, this next Easter Egg is a great one. The Simon Says Easter Egg can be activated by shooting the head of a fallen statue over at the south side of the Tombs.
Once done so, a series of statues overlooking the fallen one will light up one by one, with players needing to shoot the statues in the specified order to complete the Easter Egg. Upon completion, players will receive a Brain Rot Ammo Mod, a rather underwhelming reward, but one that saves players the hassle of spending 500 Salvage.
Generator Easter Egg
The Generator Easter Egg is a quick way to get a hold of 1,000 Essence, along with a free Full-Power Power-Up, right from The Tomb’s spawn room. Near the center of the Dig Site, players can power two generators by shooting them with a weapon with the Dead Wire Ammo Mod equipped. Once done, a bunch of Essence and a Full-Power Power-Up will spawn at the pillar within the center of the Dig Site.

Free Ray Gun Easter Egg
Tired of rolling the Mystery Box for a Ray Gun? Well, The Tomb actually offers a guaranteed way of acquiring the iconic Wonder Weapon. The method for acquiring a free Ray Gun on The Tomb will task players with looting the map’s various dig sites with a shovel to locate three Ancient Gems, which can then be taken to a statue on the eastern corner of the Tombs.
Once done, players will need to slay two Doppelghasts, which will drop the Ray Gun, a large amount of Essence, and some intel. For more information, refer to our detailed guide here.
Blood Ritual Easter Egg (Gold Armor)
This next Easter Egg is definitely the most challenging, but those who complete it will be granted one of the best items in the game. The Blood Ritual Easter Egg will task players with locating two statue heads within the Dark Aether Nexus and then taking them and placing them onto two statues within the Dig Site.
Once done, players can interact with either statue to complete two Blood Rituals, taking the players down to one health and forcing them to take on elite enemies like Doppelghasts and Shock Mimics. Once both Blood Rituals have been completed, players will be given access to a Golden Armor Vest wall buy, granting players regenerative armor. For more information, refer to our dedicated guide here.
Free Pack-a-Punch Aetherium Crystal Easter Egg
While unlocking Pack-a-Punch and acquiring enough Essence to upgrade their weapons can be done fairly early on in The Tomb, players can actually save 5,000 Essence by acquiring a free Pack-a-Punch upgrade. This can be done by heading to the center of the Dark Aether Nexus and shooting a specific rock floating above the island.
Once done, several rocks will begin to orbit the center of the Dark Aether Nexus. If players shoot each rock in quick succession, freezing each rock in place, a free Aetherium Crystal and a Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod will spawn at the location where players upgrade the Ice Staff.
Continuing the trend of Easter Eggs within the Dark Aether Nexus is a method to acquire a free Aether Tool. To get it, players will need to shoot two waterfalls on the west side of the Dark Aether Nexus using a weapon upgraded with the Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod. Doing so will freeze the waterfalls and spawn an Aether Tool in the ruins within the same area—the rarity of which will depend on the round at which this puzzle is completed.
Free Random Perk Easter Egg
Next up is a method to acquire a free Random Perk Power-Up. To complete this Easter Egg, players will need to light up the six vases within the Speed Cola room in the Ossuary. This can be done with either a weapon upgraded with the Napalm Burst Ammo Mod or with Molotovs. Once complete, a free Random Perk Power-Up will spawn.
Friendly Brain Rot Zombies Easter Egg
Looking for some extra help when flying solo on The Tomb? This next Easter Egg allows players to summon four Brain Rot zombies to defend them against other enemies, making it an excellent method for making some of the main Easter Egg steps a little bit easier.
To summon these friendly zombies, players will need to find and shoot four different ‘X’ marked skulls within the Ossuary with a Brain Rot imbued weapon. For those having trouble locating each skull, refer to our dedicated guide here.

Jumpscare Easter Egg
Last but not least is The Tomb’s very own Jumpscare Easter Egg, one that serves as a thrilling way to prank other players. To trigger this Easter Egg, players will need to find a statue that will spawn in one of three different locations. Aiming at this statue will have it turn around with glowing red eyes. After this point, at seemingly random, a jumpscare will be triggered.
The Easter Egg can be repeated indefinitely if players wish, though they will need to be familiar with all the possible spawn locations. For those looking for more information on this Easter Egg, refer to our dedicated guide here.
