The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project
Improved Textures For A More Modern Look

While The Witchers 3’s graphics are great, when compared to those in some modern titles, they are starting to look a little bit outdated. This is not as evident as it is with much older games, like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, for example, but there are some areas of improvement.
The game’s next-gen update addressed this in a few ways, so players who have taken that leap might not want or need this mod. However, for those who want to take their graphics to a whole new level, the next-gen version of The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project mod is ideal. Who knows? Maybe a revamped look might be all some players need to explore some of the best optional side quests in every location on The Continent and go for a completionist run.

The menus in The Witcher 3 are quite well-designed, so a lot of people would argue that an overhaul of them is not particularly necessary. However, when it comes to organization and accessibility, the easier to use something can be, the better.

The Friendly HUD mod offers a ton of options to configure different HUD models, and it also adds 3D markers for things like quests and NPC tracking. This mod is fairly simple to use and can make modding less intimidating for newcomers.

Although The Continent is not the largest open-world map in games of this genre, it can take a while to explore. Fast traveling is not a luxury, but rather a necessity, as, without it, the game could feel frustrating and even tedious at some point.
The one downside of fast travel in the base game is that players must be at a signpost to do so. The Fast Travel From Anywhere mod is a great advantage at players’ disposal, as it eliminates the need to be at a signpost to use this feature. This mod can make it a lot easier to reach points of interest faster and collect some of the best armor sets in The Witcher 3.

All Quest Objectives On Map
A Clearer View Of Points Of Interest Is Always Helpful

Released |
November 1, 2015 |
The Continent’s map is quite well-designed. However, sometimes it can be a little overwhelming to navigate, especially for newcomers to the franchise. The All Quest Objectives On Map mod is not only easy to use and install, but also allows players to track multiple quests at the same time and have a clearer idea of where the most important points of interest are.
In a game like The Witcher 3, organization is critical, so having a mod that allows Geralt to roam freely throughout The Continent without having to worry about losing sight of the important stuff, is a great advantage to have. The All Quest Objectives On Map can be of great help when players are tracking down some of the best silver swords in the game.

Auto-Apply Oils
A Great Mod To Ensure Players Always Have The Best Odds Of Success

Any player who’s been enjoying The Witcher 3 for a while knows how important Oils can be, especially during a challenging fight against a formidable foe. Oils help deal additional damage to certain enemies, as long as they’re picked right. However, sometimes players can forget to apply the necessary Oil to their swords, putting them at a disadvantage.
Luckily, there’s the Auto Apply Oils mod, which, as its name suggests, applies the necessary Oil to Geralt’s sword depending on the monster he’s facing. Naturally, players must have the right Oil in their inventory for this to work. Since patch 4.03, this option is built into the game, so the mod is not necessary. However, if players want to compare the mod to the base game’s version, downloading Auto Apply Oils might still be a good idea as they cover both the main and secret side quests in the game.

The Witcher 3 is already quite immersive and presents players with a compelling narrative that will have them entertained for hours. However, some actions in the game that should have animations don’t, which can impact the experience in a few ways.

The Witcher 3: 8 Ways To Make A Playthrough As Hard As Possible
The Witcher 3 can be very challenging, but some things can be done to make it harder. Here are some ways to make a playthrough as hard as possible.
The Complete Animations mod addresses this gracefully by adding new animations to the game for actions like eating, drinking, and more. It might sound unimportant or unnecessary, but for many players, hearing a gulping sound and nothing else when Geralt consumes food or a potent potion can be unsettling or simply unsatisfying.

Lore-Friendly Witchers
Accuracy Is Very Important To Preserve A Franchise’s Attributes

There’s no denying that The Witcher games were executed magnificently, even if they didn’t follow what’s written in the books to a tee. Most players are happy with the way the games’ story is told and how the characters are developed—even when there are some morally gray decisions involved. However, some die-hard fans of the literary franchise might want to go the extra mile and keep accuracy a priority.
For them, the Lore-friendly Witchers mod is the way to go, as it alters the appearance of Geralt and other Witchers in the game so that they look like their book counterparts as much as possible.
