Stealing is a common mechanic in RPGs, allowing players to acquire valuable items through sneaky means. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 takes this a step further with its realistic crime system. Players can steal by lockpicking chests or pickpocketing NPCs, whether during the day or while they sleep. Nighttime offers the best opportunity for this, however, as fewer people will be around to witness the crime.
Once players have stolen a few items, the question arises: how do you sell them? Simply equipping stolen gear and roaming around a town can get you arrested. For those not wanting to be caught red-handed, here’s how to sell stolen items fairly early in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

How To Sell Stolen Items In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After stealing items in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, you can approach a merchant to try your luck at selling something, but they will refuse to trade stolen goods. Thankfully, there are still several ways to earn a good amount of Groschen.
The first method is to immediately store the stolen items in your chest. You can find a shared chest near beds where you sleep to regain energy. After placing the goods inside, wait one or two in-game weeks. This will remove the stolen mark on your gear, allowing you to sell it to any merchant as if nothing ever happened.
As you progress in the game, your Speech Level will increase through conversations, successful speech checks, and haggling. At level 10, you can acquire the Hustler perk, and at level 20, you can unlock the Partner in Crime perk. Both perks allow you to sell stolen items to regular merchants without encountering any issues.
Selling Stolen Goods To A Fence In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
If you can’t wait that long and desperately need Groschen, an alternative method is to find a Fence. The earliest one available is Fence Whitebeard, located inside the Nomad’s Camp west of Troskovitz, the starting town. Whitebeard is willing to buy your stolen items and offers a decent price for them.
The downside with this method is that he only has 240 Groschen to trade. This means that if you’ve stolen multiple high-value armors, you won’t be able to sell all your goods to him at once.
