As you explore the two open regions in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and complete quests as you go, you’ll notice that your inventory is full of stuff you don’t really have any use for. There are various books you can find, some of which are much more useful than others.

You may decide to sell some books to make some money. However, you’ll notice that most merchants won’t buy books from you. The likes of traders and innkeepers have no interest in them. You’ll have to head to a certain place to sell books you no longer want.
Where To Sell Books
To sell books, you need to find a Scribe. For the most part, they are the only merchants who will buy and sell books. In the Trosky region, in the centre of Troskowitz town, you’ll spot a Scribe by the tavern. Head in and speak to Scribe Gaibl.
In the Kuttenberg region in the second half of the game, there’s a Scribe near the market in the centre of town, through a building and up some stairs. Pick whichever Scribe is easiest for you to get to.
All scribes will only be open to speak to between the hours of 9am and 6pm each day. NPCs have lives in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
What Books Should You Sell?
Once you’re at a Scribe, you need to decide what books to sell. A lot of them can be sold whenever you want to.
Lore books can be sold at any time – they don’t have any real use to you. Just make sure you do not sell skill books, unless you’ve read them already. Letters and maps are fine to sell, but aren’t worth much and don’t weigh much, so you can keep them without losing out much. Selling lore books is where most of the money is to be made.
Since most books are worth a decent amount and aren’t heavy, be sure to pick up any you find. They’ll often be found during quests in places you wouldn’t otherwise go.
