Eternal Might is one of the two preconstructed Commander decks released alongside Magic: The Gathering‘s Aetherdrift set. The deck is all about building an army of Zombies and growing their stats. Alternatively, it is a pseudo-reanimator deck with its alternate commander that can create copies of cards you discard.

As with all preconstructed Commander decks, Eternal Might comes with a ton of reprints (some with new Aetherdrift-based art). Some are “standard” reprints like Sol Ring and Arcane Signet, while other reprints are seeing their first proper reprints in years. There’s some decent value in some of the more niche reprints as well.

Plague Belcher
Zombie Burn
Plague Belcher is a great creature for supporting the Zombie creature type. It turns any Zombie dying into burn damage, something Zombies are naturally good at doing as they make great sacrifice fodder. It can be combined with other Zombies to create infinite combos.
Its enter the battlefield trigger does force you to put two -1/-1 counters on a creature. The effect is worth the trade-off, however, since you can just chuck those counters on Zombie tokens you don’t care about to get Plague Belcher on the battlefield.
9
Gravecrawler
Oodles Of Infinites
Gravecrawler has had a ton of reprints over the years, including in the set that came out just before Aetherdrift. However, it is still one of the best Zombie cards ever printed, giving it some value in spite of this.
The ability to cast Gravecrawler from the graveyard enables a ton of infinite combos for as much death and enter the battlefield triggers as you’d like. Gravecrawler with Phyrexian Altar will let you do a ton of shenanigans and is the centerpiece to most win conditions of Zombie decks that win through easily established infinite combos.

Maskwood Nexus
Anything Is Everything
If you are playing a deck that needs multiple creature types, Maskwood Nexus is the perfect card for you. It will give all creatures you control all creature types, which is very useful as they can take advantage of all the support cards that boost up specific creature types.

Maskwood Nexus also has a built-in way to build up a board presence by generating 2/2 Shapeshifter tokens. The releases of Maskwood Nexus are almost exclusively in Commander preconstructed decks, and this printing is no exception, which gives it some extra value.
7
Cryptbreaker
Make Zombies, Draw With Zombies
Cryptbreaker is a card that is being reprinted for the first since its original release in 2016’s Eldritch Moon and comes with completely new Amonkhet-based art. The card itself is a great support card for any Zombie-based deck.
Cryptbreaker can generate Zombie tokens by discard cards, or use untapped Zombies to draw cards. A lot of Zombie-based decks can struggle with card draw, so its ability not being once per turn is an excellent way to ensure you have a full hand of useful cards. So long as you have three Zombies to tap, you can draw cards.
6
Bontu’s Monument
Discount Creature And Burn
Bontu’s Monument is a fantastic card if you’re playing any black deck that is focused on creatures (something that Eternal Might is). The one mana discount is very useful, as is the burn damage it does. Black naturally does some self-inflicting damage, something Bontu’s Monument helps to recover.
Black can struggle with ramping, so Bontu’s Monument acts as a way to ramp into your larger creatures by discounting the mana cost. It only costs three mana, letting you easily get it down by the second turn of a game. It’s a decently valuable card thanks to its usefulness.
5
God-Eternal Oketra
Creatures For Tokens
The Eternal Might reprint is the first proper reprint of God-Eternal Oketra since its first release in 2019’s War of the Spark. It’s a very strong card, giving you a 4/4 token whenever you cast any creature spell.
While five mana can be on the costlier side, it’s worth the price of admission as it greatly ramps up your battlefield presence, turning all creature spells into a two for one. It had a higher-than-average price tag thanks to its power and lack of reprints, something Eternal Might rectifies.
4
The Scarab God
Revive Any Creature
The Scarab God is one of the best Dimir commanders in Magic: The Gathering and is a fantastic card in its own right. It does burn damage and lets you scry the top of your deck for however many Zombies you control, which helps to ensure you are only drawing useful cards.
Its second effect is fantastic, as you can exile any creature from any graveyard and bring it to your battlefield for just four mana. This lets you cheat around high mana costs and get powerful effects onto the battlefield as quickly as possible.
3
Zombie Master
Regenerating Zombies
Zombie Master had a few limited release reprints, but the Eternal Might version is the first proper reprint since 1999’s Sixth Edition. Due to the scarcity of the card, it has a ton of value and is one of the best cards for Zombie decks.

Zombie Master gives all Zombies the ability to regenerate themselves by paying a black mana as well as gives them swampwalk to make them impossible to block for some opponents. Zombie Master does a whole lot for Zombies, making him a very strong include in any deck built around them.
2
Rot Hulk
Bring Zombies Back
Rot Hulk’s previous releases were very limited. It was originally released in the Game Night product in 2018, and reprinted as a part of the convention-exclusive Mystery Booster 2. Eternal Might is the first easily accessible release Rot Hulk has been reprinted in.
Rot Hulk is a very powerful card, letting you bring back up to three Zombie cards from the graveyard (assuming you’re playing with three opponents). While Rot Hulk is costly on mana, you can cheat it out with reanimation spells and abilities to bring three other creatures along with it.
1
Unholy Grotto
Topdeck Zombies
Outside of a release in The List and a Secret Lair, Eternal Might is Unholy Grotto’s first appearance as a reprint since its original release in 2002’s Onslaught set. This utility land is a must-run in any deck that is playing Zombie creatures.
While most Zombie decks can reanimate their creatures, sometimes there are powerful cards that get removed that you can easily cast normally. This is where the strength of Unholy Grotto comes in. It lets you easily recycle your cheap Zombie creatures while you reanimate your costly ones.
