When Honkai: Star Rail was first released, it was already difficult to keep up with the constant character releases since there were two new characters every update and they ranged from seven different paths and combat types. During the Version 3.0 update, the total playable paths in the game went up to eight.

Honkai: Star Rail – Complete Amphoreus Exploration Guide
Amphoreus is the fifth main region in Honkai: Star Rail, and here are all the locations you’ll need to visit to explore it.
This happened with the Remembrance Path’s release, and Aglaea was the first limited character from it. Apart from introducing a new playstyle in battle with her memosprite, Aglaea is also one of the most difficult characters to build.
Best Aglaea Relics And Planar Ornaments
To get started on Aglaea’s build, the main thing you have to focus on and will be spending most of your time on are the relics and planar ornaments. You can get these completely for free as you progress the story, but the stats you get while farming them are luck-based, which can lead to a long grind if you don’t get lucky.
Apart from raw stats, each relic and planar ornament set has bonuses when you have two or four pieces from the same one equipped on Aglaea. Here are the best bonuses that you should be farming for her:
Type |
Name |
Synergy With Aglaea |
---|---|---|
Relics |
Hero of Triumphant Song |
This is the most suitable set for Aglaea, and the .bonuses you’ll get from it will far outweigh any other set. It gives her ATK, SPD, and memosprite Crit DMG, which are all the stats she desperately needs. |
Musketeer of Wild Wheat |
If you’re still in the early game, you can try using this set to get a similar ATK and SPD boost while buffing her Basic ATK DMG, which is also her main source of damage. |
|
Planar Ornaments |
The Wondrous BananAmusement Park |
Much like the relic set, this is the most suitable ornament set for her as it gives her a ton of Crit DMG as long as Garmentmaker is on the field. |
Sigonia, the Unclaimed Desolation |
If you’re using Aglaea in Pure Fiction, you can also try using this set as it can give her a 40 percent Crit DMG boost for the rest of the battle. |
|
Firmament Frontline: Glamoth |
Finally, since Aglaea always stays on high SPD, the Glamoth set also works out to get a decent ATK and DMG boost. |
Aglaea Relic Stat Priority
Type |
Main Stat Priority |
Sub Stat Priority |
---|---|---|
Head |
HP |
SPD > Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent |
Hands |
ATK |
SPD > Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent |
Body |
Crit Rate/DMG |
SPD > Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent |
Feet |
SPD |
Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent |
Planar Sphere |
Imaginary DMG Bonus |
SPD > Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent |
Link Rope |
Energy Regeneration Rate > ATK Percent |
SPD > Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent |
Even though SPD is Aglaea’s priority on sub-stats, you’ll still need Crit Rate and DMG on each one, which is what makes her difficult to build.
Aglaea is one of the very few DPS characters that require Energy Regeneration Rate on her rope since her energy requirement is too high even with the best team.
Best Aglaea Light Cones
Since Remembrance was first released during the Version 3.0 update, we didn’t have any Light Cones from this path before. This leads to a lack of choices when it comes to Aglaea, and the only good F2P choice she has is a three-star.
Time Woven Into Gold |
Of course, Aglaea’s signature light cone works the best for her as it gives her some much-needed SPD and Basic ATK DMG while also providing a massive Crit DMG boost. |
---|---|
Geniuses’ Greetings |
This light cone can increase Aglaea’s ATK and Basic ATK DMG, though you’ll need it on a high superimposition level to make it better from the three-star below. |
Reminiscence |
You can easily get this light cone to superimposition five since it’s a three-star, and the DMG boost from it makes it one of the best choices for her. |
Sweat Now, Cry Less |
Finally, you can go for the battle pass light cone if you’re buying the premium tier as it can provide her with some Crit Rate and overall DMG. |
Best Aglaea Team Compositions
This is where you’ll start seeing the main problem with Aglaea in the current meta unless you’re one of the few people who has every character in the game. She has a whopping 350 energy cost for her Ultimate, but she also needs a 100 percent uptime on this if you want to get the maximum damage value.
You can do this with either her best team mentioned below or getting the first Eidolon, but it’s nearly impossible otherwise.
Best Aglaea Team
- Aglaea
- Robin
- Sunday
- Huohuo
Both Sunday’s and Huohuo’s requirement on this team are fairly obvious since both of these characters can increase an ally’s energy with their own ultimate. This will help Aglaea get her ultimate back before her buffed state from it ends. Robin and Sunday can also give allies an instant turn, which will help her get more buffed attacks.
Even with this team, you’ll likely need an Energy Regen rope on her unless you can speed-tune both your Sunday and Robin to fit a perfect cycle, which is quite difficult with the relic RNG.
Aglaea F2P Team
- Aglaea
- Remembrance Trailblazer
- Tingyun
- Lynx
While this team works with Aglaea in theory, you’ll notice a very significant reduction in your overall damage output compared to her main team. Moreover, there’s hardly anything you can do to have a 100 percent uptime on her ultimate with this team unless you have the required Eidolon.
With time, Aglaea might get better teammates who can help her get the ultimate much faster or even give her buffs because of her high Energy requirement, but her team situation is quite dire for now.
Aglaea Traces Overview And Priority
When you look at Aglaea’s trace screen, you’ll notice a big difference in it compared to characters from the other path. Apart from her normal abilities, you’ll find two extra abilities for her memosprite, Garmentmaker. Here’s how her abilities generally work:
- Her skill and ultimate can summon the Garmentmaker or heal it if it’s already on the field. You don’t have to use her skill if the memosprite is on the field unless it has very low health.
- Aglaea’s basic attack does little damage to a single enemy, but it gets buffed when you use her ultimate. With the buffed basic attack, Aglaea and Garmentmaker get together to deal high damage to three adjacent enemies.
- Aglaea’s memosprite automatically launches an attack that hits three adjacent enemies and deals a decent bit of damage whenever it gets a turn.
- When Aglaea attacks an enemy with Garmentmaker present, that enemy gets a special effect, which not only increases their damage on this enemy but also increases the memosprite’s SPD massively every time it attacks this target. However, this SPD boost largely goes away if the memosprite disappears from the field.
- The main reason you need 100 percent uptime on her Ultimate is that it makes the memosprite disappear when it ends, which removes all the important SPD boost stacks. Not only do these stacks give Aglaea more attacks, but also increase both their damage.
When it comes to upgrading Aglaea’s abilities, you’d want to go for her basic attack first followed by the memosprite abilities. You can then upgrade her talent and ultimate in any order while unlocking the bonus ability nodes as soon as possible.
