In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, a lot of the story quests ask you to make important decisions that can change the story and affect the fate of some characters. As you get towards the end of the game, those choices get harder to make. They begin to involve the lives of innocent people, not just the people around you.

When Does Kingdom Come: Deliverance Take Place?
Ever wonder exactly when and where Kingdom Come Deliverance takes place? Here’s what you want to know.
In the quest called Dancing With the Devil, you plan an attack on Maleshov. Alongside Dry Devil and some soldiers, you head there in the dead of night with the aim of capturing Von Bergow. However, things don’t go entirely smoothly and you have to make some decisions.
Dancing With The Devil Walkthrough
To start the quest, you head to Dry Devil’s base in the north west of the Kuttenberg region. You head to the balcony and speak to Zizka there.
After waiting until the meeting in the evening, you start planning an attack on Maleshov to capture Von Bergow. Next, everyone heads out to the village.
Should You Stop Dry Devil And Save Maleshov?
During the next part of the quest, the Dry Devil kills a villager. You have to decide whether to stop the burning of Maleshov village or allow it to proceed.
You must defeat the Dry Devil in a duel if you get angry about the attack, or you can let him continue. If you lose the duel or agree to burn the village, you must kill more of the villagers and the reinforcements who arrive later on.
Once in the village, speak to Zizka and wait for your orders, then attack the men. With the guards and villagers dead, you then get into Maleshov Castle with a ladder alongside Samuel.
If you choose to kill the villagers and burn down the town, fewer guards will be sent to the castle. That allows you to enter with less resistance.
Once you’re inside, creep to the front gate and kill or distract the soldier to open the gates. You now just need to survive the attack and kill the guards.
As for which decision is best to make, saving Maleshov will positively impact the ending of the game. We don’t want to spoil anything, and the decisions don’t change the events, but what you do in Dancing With the Devil will change how other characters react to Henry’s journey. If you want to get as close to a good ending as you can, you’re best to save Maleshov and duel Dry Devil.
How To Capture Von Bergow And Save Rosa
After the siege, you need to capture Von Bergow by passing a dialogue skill check. You need to negotiate with him and say “Ransom would be a solution for both parties,” when you’re given the option to do so.
That will see Von Bergow come peacefully and secure the safety of Rosa, who Henry will have become close to by this point in the game.
