Exploring Nimbus Sanctum is tougher than other regions at Rinascita in Wuthering Waves because of the lack of a Resonance Beacon to help players reach the destination faster. Even so, it won’t deter the fan base as the overall rewards from exploration progress is hard to ignore, such as the numerous treasure chests, hidden achievements, and Astrites.
One of the things that increases exploration progress is by completing the Overflowing Palette puzzle, where players need to clear the color palette in a painting to solve it. Aside from the rewards, these morph paintings will also return the area to its former vibrancy in Wuthering Waves.

Nimbus Sanctum Overflowing Palette Location 1
Start off the exploration by teleporting to the Resonance Nexus near Atrium of Reflections and head south towards the edge of the region for the first painting. The map is full of mists, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to spot the huge glowing painting near a waterfall. This puzzle wants Rovers to change all the blocks to a yellow color.
To complete the Overflowing Palette in Wuthering Waves, Rovers needed to adjust all the blocks into a designated color until only a specific color was left in the painting. To change the color, select a color on the right side and apply it to suitable blocks on the palette to the left.
Different Overflowing Palette puzzles have different movement limits. Plan your moves before changing any of the blocks’ color in the palette.
There are only 2 turns, and the solution to this puzzle is:
- Choose the green color and turn all the blue blocks into green
- Now pick the yellow color and change all the green blocks into yellow
Nimbus Sanctum Overflowing Palette Location 2
The second Overflowing Palette at Nimbus Sanctum in Wuthering Waves is located southeast of Lorelei’s boss arena, which is a bit far away from the previous challenge. But since this region lacks Resonance Beacon, it’s best to walk on foot and simply head northeast from the previous Overflowing Palette location to this one.
There are 3 turns for this Overflowing Palette puzzle, and Rovers need to turn all the blocks into yellow. Here’s the instructions to get the right color and return the scenery around the puzzle to its normal state:
- Pick up the green color and turn the blue color into green
- Now, choose the red color and switch all the green to red
- Finally, take the yellow color and switch the red color to yellow
Nimbus Sanctum Overflowing Palette Location 3
The final location of Overflowing Palette in Nimbus Sanctum is located above the misty map. Teleport to the Resonance Nexus in Hallowed Reach and head southwest towards the last painting.
Similar to the last one, Rovers have 3 moves and need to turn all the blocks into yellow. Follow the guide below to complete the puzzle:
- Choose the red color and change the green blocks into red
- Stay with the red color and swap the blue blocks to red
- Lastly, pick the yellow color and turn all the red blocks to yellow
After solving any Overflowing Palette in Wuthering Waves, players will automatically get the various in-game resources without opening a treasure chest and returning the colors to the surrounding area.
