Begin your medieval journey in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 with 8 must-do things for a smooth start!

The players can find Lackey by visiting a gamekeeper’s house northwest of Zhelejov, as shown in the images below. If players talk to the woman inside the house, she will tell about her husband and how he has gone missing for several hours after leaving home.

Find The Gamekeeper And Kill The Wolves

After agreeing to help the poor woman, players will need to talk to the gamekeeper’s son on the west side of the house next to a shooting range. The son is stubborn and doesn’t like his father much, so the players will need to choose the first option starting with “He could be in serious danger!” to convince the boy to explain about his father’s whereabouts. If Henry fails to convince him through persuasion, he should pay the boy 20 coins to get the address.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – How to Pickpocket

Crime is always an option in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and if you want to pick pockets or crack open locks, here’s how.

Carry The Gamekeeper To His Camp

Once done, talk to the man, and he will ask you to carry him to several locations. This part can be a little confusing, so make sure to follow the path drawn on the map above, and keep in mind that at each dot, the game will save progress and task you with the rest of the direction. These directions can also be found by marking the mission on the map after each new marker, but it can still be tedious.

After carrying the gamekeeper to his camp, Henry must head toward the bandits who have stolen the gamekeeper’s horse, and there is an optional task of killing them all. This part could be quite difficult to complete, and taking a stealth approach is the best method to get rid of the bandits and return the horse. So, follow the blue path from the camp to reach bandit hideout.

Get Rid Of Bandits And Return Horse

Bandit Camp Knockout 1 Lackey quest - Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

The first easy target is actually outside the camp. Before reaching the bandit camp, there is a path that branches out to the left. Take it, and you will find a lonely bandit. Approach from behind and knock him out. Make sure to carry the body somewhere else, so the other roamers cannot find him. Also, you can steal the bandit’s stuff and butcher him.

Now, head straight up to find a bonfire in a rest spot. Wait behind the cover and let one of the bandits come to the fire. Then approach him from behind, knock him out, and hide the body. Another guard should stand in front of the horse next to the rest spot. Make sure he is alone and get rid of him too.

Now, two bandits remain. They both lurk around the other rest spot. Make sure to find them alone one by one, especially the archer, who could be quite difficult to deal with.

Take Gamekeeper To His Home

After killing the bandits, mount the horse and get back to the gamekeeper. Park the horse right next to its owner, otherwise the game may refuse to progress further. Then, talk to him and accompany him to his house.

After meeting with his son and wife, the mission will come to an end, but Henry can talk to the gamekeeper the next day to unlock the Bird of Prey questline. Also, completing this mission will grant Henry a bed in the gamekeeper’s stable, but make sure to ask him where you must sleep.
