Dice is a mini-game in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 that is introduced to the players pretty early in the game, but the original instructions for the game may sound a bit vague and incomplete, as the player will need multiple tries to figure out how to play and what are the winning conditions.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – Which Playstyle Should You Choose

Choosing a playstyle is the closest thing KCD 2 has to picking a class, leaving players wondering which option is the best.

This game actually has multiple die combinations that players will need to remember, or at least save somewhere and look at the acceptable combinations after rolling the dice to make wise choices and collect as many points as possible.

How To Play And Win

Dice Game Combinations - Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

The game of dice begins with a random turn. The player who starts first will toss all the six dice inside a cup and then roll them on the game’s table. Now, the player must look at the available numbers and set aside a correct combination of them. If, anywhere in the game, the player cannot make up any correct combinations from the rolled dice, they will be busted, which means they earn no points in that round and the turn moves to the rival player.

Here are the correct combinations and the points they grant:

Now, if the player does manage to find a correct combination, he can choose to set them aside and score the points, but there will be two options here: the player can set the combination aside and roll the remaining dice, or they can hand over the turn after matching the correct combinations.

This is a risk vs reward moment. If the player decides to hand over the turn after separating one or more correct combinations from the dice, the scored points will be permanently added to their tally. However, if the player attempts to roll again, the scored points will be temporary. If the next roll does not provide any correct combination, the player will be busted, and the scored points will be lost. But, if the player manages to get another combination, they can decide to either move on again or hand over the turn and earn the points.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – How to Increase Carrying Weight

Henry is a strong lad, but if you want to increase your max carrying capacity in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ll need to put in some effort.

Basic Tips For The Dice Game In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Dice Game 2 - Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

The more dice that are separated, the less chance the player will have to match a correct combination with the next roll. After all, it’s easier to get at least a 5 or a 1 from six dice than to get it from one die. So, it is important to pick up the combinations wisely on the first attempt.

For example, the player may draw two 5 dice at the first attempt. They can separate both of them to score 50 points for each, or they can separate one and roll again for better numbers or better combinations, as rolling with five dice is obviously less risky than four. Even if the player scores only a 1 on the next attempt, it sums up to 150 points, while picking up the two 5 dice at the first attempt and then handing over the turn would only earn the player 100 points.

One of the best things every player can do is to look for more expensive combinations and neglect smaller rolls like 5. Rolling again with five dice is always a better option than four if the scored combinations don’t add much to the tally. Also, it depends on the score. If you are behind, it’s good to take risks, but if you are ahead, a conservative approach is recommended.

Another tip to remember is that if the scored points are less than 200, it’s worth it to roll three dice too, as even in case of losing, not much will be lost. This imaginary threshold is, of course, far less for two dice.

With good strategic decisions, it’s not too difficult to win a game of Dice, and it is indeed one of the best ways to get rich in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, as it is a mechanic available earlier in the game.

Playing With Badges

Badges are special items that act like active or passive skills that can significantly impact the result of the game if used correctly. Badges can be earned from looting or purchased from traders. There are rarities for badges: Tin, Silver, and Gold. The rarity of the badge for both players will always be the same.

Before playing Dice, you can make it clear whether you want to play with a badge or not. If you choose to play with a badge, a variety of game modes will be shown based on the badges available for the opponent. Some game modes have an “and a badge” next to their bet price. This means the losing player will also hand over their badge to the opponent on top of the bet’s amount.

Each player can only bring one badge to a game, and before the match begins, you get to choose your preferred badge from the inventory. The description of each badge can be found by taking a look at the help center of the game.

Most badges can only be used once per game and the player usually makes the call when to use them. If you have an active badge, you can use it when making a play. However, make sure to activate it at the proper time. For example, if a badge says it will add up to the score of its activation round, make sure to activate it after choosing the dice you want to separate from the others.
