Henry of Skalitz is a man of many talents, but even with his ability to carry dozens of weapons, armor, and merchandise in his own personal pocket dimension, players will still need to learn to manage Henry’s inventory in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Magic bag of holding aside, the game pays a ton of attention to immersion and realism, and when it comes to expanding your carrying capacity, the method really is quite simple.
In general, players can improve Henry’s stats in KCD2 through constant training, and when it comes to increasing the total number of things he can carry, you’ll need to give him a proper workout. Here’s what you need to know about inventory space and max carrying weights in this game.

Brewed potions can have a wide range of effects in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2; here’s everything you need to know about getting started with Alchemy.
How to Increase Carry Capacity in KCD2
To carry more stuff, you need to increase your Strength stat. This is generally done by engaging in any form of combat, and gaining Strength XP becomes more efficient if you’re wearing heavy armor and using heavy and/or Strength-based weapons.
Picking fights with people or hunting animals with melee weapons can give you decent amounts of Strength XP, but one of the best things you can do is find a combat master and ask them to train with you. In the Troskowitz region, you can visit Tomcat in the Romani Nomads Camp due west of Bozhena the herbwoman’s hut. Not only will he spar with you if you ask, but he’ll also teach you how to perform new moves, including Master Strikes in KCD2 (provided you can beat him in a real fight).
Moving while overencumbered also yields Strength XP.
Carrying Weight Perks
Your maximum carrying capacity increases by 10 for every point of Strength you have. You can increase this even more by getting the following perks under the Strength stat:
Perk |
Description |
Strength Requirement |
---|---|---|
Pack Mule |
Your carrying capacity is increased by 12 pounds. |

Strong As A Bull |
Your carrying capacity is increased by 20 pounds. |

Horse Inventory
If you’re having trouble carrrying heavy items in your inventory, you can always stow some of them in your horse’s saddlebags, provided you’ve already gotten a horse in KCD 2. To do this, open your inventory screen, hover over an item you want to transfer, and press the X key to transfer the item (Square/X on controller).
You don’t need to be on or near your horse in order to do this. Also, you can improve your horse’s carrying capacity by purchasing better saddles.
