After impressing Surya with your shipfitting work in the Scatteryards, you’ll unlock a new colour scheme for your ride, and the “Paint The Rig” drive. Now, as simple as it might sound, the world of Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is one of hard-won luck, so it takes some finagling just to splash a little colour on your wayward scrapheap.

Specifically, Surya wants you to make sketches of different hubs to inspire him. He’ll pay you 150 cryo upfront just for agreeing. Then, in exchange for each sketch, you’ll unlock new paint jobs for your rig and be paid 150 cryo each.
How To Find The Sketches And Unlock All Rig Colour Schemes
There are three sketches to create at three different hubs. They are Far Spindle, Greenbelt, and The Hollow. So, if you’ve already locked yourself out of Wellspring, don’t worry, it’s not part of the Drive (and neither is Darkside). Each hub will have a new location for you to scout using your Intuit Skill. They all use an eye icon, so they’re easy to find. That said, it might take a cycle or two to finish your sketch if you don’t have any points in Intuit.
Thankfully, they’re one of the few “safe” tasks in the game, so failing them won’t cause any stress or energy loss.
This makes for some of the easiest cryo in the game, and if you want to do a loop around from the Scatteryards, through the hubs and back, the best route is: The Hollow – Greenbelt – Helion Gate – Far Spindle – Flotsam – and back to Scatteryards or vice versa.
Of course, it takes a lot of fuel to pull this off, so it’s better to take your time and do some other Drives along the way.
For example, it’s a good idea to progress the Diagnose Your Frame drive in Flotsam before heading over to Helion Gate to complete The Shipmind Wreck drive with Juni.
You can hand over the sketches one by one or all at once. Once Surya has all three sketches, the Drive will be complete, earning you a skill point and the Proud Rig Owner achievement too.
