How To Complete Bird Of Prey In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

How To Complete Bird Of Prey In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Views: 0

Bird of Prey is one of the longer side-quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 that comes with multiple tasks, but it is quite important story-wise, as the end of this mission leads into an interesting twist. It also sees Henry finding one of his questions answered, especially after parting ways with Hans earlier in the game.

This questline only becomes available after completing the Lackey side quest. The gamekeeper who Henry rescued on that mission becomes a new quest-giver and tasks the nobleman with arresting the poachers who hunt illegally. Bird of Prey is unlocked when Henry talks to the gamekeeper the day after rescuing him during the Lackey quest and then decides to help him deal with the poachers.

The crime and punishment system in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is incredibly complex, and players will truly feel the consequences of any wrongdoings.

Bird Of Prey: Poacher #1 Location

The most difficult part about each task in Bird of Prey is finding the exact location of the poacher, as the game will only highlight a big area, and Henry must look for the poacher’s camp himself. For the first task, Henry must head to the marked location on the map above.

First Poacher Dialogue Bird of Prey - Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

The player has two options when talking to the poacher. They can let him go by convincing him to stop poaching, or they can arrest him. There is also the third non-mentioned option that involves murder, but this one is not required for this poacher, as he won’t oppose a threat.

Also, killing poachers always negatively affects Henry’s reputation with the gamekeeper. If you want the maximum reputation with the gamekeeper, you must always try to arrest them. In this case, letting go of the poacher will also result in a reputation loss with the quest-giver.

First Poacher Dialogue 2 Bird of Prey - Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

If, for any reason, Henry kills the poacher or lets them flee, he must bring something from the poacher to the gamekeeper for proof of work. So, Henry can loot the poacher’s stuff, including their hunting knife, or steal it from their camp.

Bird Of Prey: Poacher #2 Location

The next poacher is probably the most difficult one to find, as the camp is pretty well hidden among the trees. So, after taking the mission, head exactly to the location marked on the map and look to your northeast to find the camp.

This poacher is more stubborn when listening to speech or threats. So, either level up Henry’s persuasion and come back later or get into a fight and kill him. After killing the poacher, loot him for some proof.

Now, return to the gamekeeper, and he will introduce you to another gamekeeper on the southern region of the map. From now on, Henry must get the rest of the tasks in this mission from the new gamekeeper.

Bird Of Prey: Poacher #3 Location

The first task with the new gamekeeper is fairly easy. He will send you after a poacher in the southeastern forests of Troskowitz. So, first head to Location 1 marked on the map above in order to find the camp, where Henry can also loot some stuff for free. Then, move to Location 2, where you will find the poacher’s corpse with a few wolves around it.

Get rid of the wolves, loot the hunting knife from the corpse, and return to the gamekeeper.

Bird Of Prey: Poacher #4 Location

This task will require more combat, as Henry will face a larger camp with three poachers, but the good news is that they will all surrender after getting beaten up. Head to the marked location on the map, and once you spot the camp, the highlighted area will become smaller.

There are three pieces of evidence in this small area that Henry should examine. The first is a dead animal that a poacher is standing in front of. Get near the animal’s corpse and examine it, but don’t fight with the poacher.

The second piece of evidence is on the opposite side of the camp next to the rest spot. There is an animal skin here that you can examine.

The final piece of evidence is a little bit further from the camp. Continue along the path beyond the first piece of evidence you examined, and there will be another poacher cutting a dead animal. Examine that, and this part of the mission will be completed.

Now, you can attack the three poachers one by one, but keep in mind that there is no need to kill them. Each one of them will surrender and flee after receiving a few sword hits. So, don’t go too hard on them.

Once the camp is clear, the mission will progress further, and you can report to the gamekeeper.
