Clash of Clans is here with yet another season, as the Lunar New Year season festivities are part of the Weekly Events and Challenges. Snake it Back Challenge is one event that has arrived at the game and just like every base to beat, this is on the fun side of things. So here’s everything you need to know how to beat the Snake it Back challenge in Clash of Clans.

Introducing the Snake it Back Challenge in Clash of Clans

The Snake It Back challenge in Clash of Clans is tied to the Lunar New Year event, celebrating the Year of the Snake. This is the first of the two challenges coming this month, the base looks pretty simple to beat, but the trick is the army they gave us, so we need to be careful about that.

The rewards will be distributed like in previous challenges, with the team continuing their usual approach. There don’t seem to be any plans to change this anytime soon, as the makers have been repeatedly lazy. You will receive extra resources along with 400 XP, 25 Gems, and 1x Resource Potion.

At the start of the attack, notice the hooded statue on the left of the middle Scattershot? Yes, this serves as a clue for troop placement. To begin, deploy one Snake Barrel Troop on the opposite side of the Scattershot to minimize incoming damage. Wait until the Scattershot is at 50% health, then place one Barrel on each of the Huts at the bottom of the base.

Next, spread out three Firecrackers evenly in front of the Dark Elixir Storage, placing one on the central Bomb Tower and the remaining two near the other storages. Moving to the top of the base, deploy one Wall Breaker followed by another Barrel Troop to distract defenses. Then, send in the Barbarian King to push through the defenses in this area.

Once the left side of the base is cleared, target the Monoliths with your remaining two Barrel Troops, followed by three Headhunters. At this point, let the attack unfold as the centre of the base gets taken down. Your Barbarian King will continue dealing damage at the top, while your Snakes advance toward the Multi-Inferno Tower.

To maximize their effectiveness, drop a Heal Spell between the Multi-Inferno and the X-Bows once the Snakes reach that area. As they move further, use a Rage Spell to push through the final defenses. The Barbarian King’s ability isn’t crucial in this attack since most of his effects are passive, but you can activate it if needed.

The Snakes will gradually clean up the remaining buildings, including the Troll Tesla at the three o’clock position. With this strategy, you should be able to secure an easy three-star in the Snake It Back challenge.
