Speak To The Beautiful Woman
Remember the beautiful woman Henry tried to save back in the pond? She is here and may seem like the breakthrough you need to get back on track, but sadly it isn’t. Still, after talking to Hans, go over to the woman and speak to her.
However, when you approach her she will be a little harsh with her remarks regarding Henry’s stench. Following that, the innkeeper will ask you to go and wash yourself. Just ahead you will notice a place to wash yourself. So, go ahead and wash yourself and, when you are done, approach the lady again.
Both women will be having a conversation, so let them finish and, when they are done, initiate the conversation with Katherine, the woman in blue. Now, the conversation won’t go as well as you may have imagined as Katherine refuses to agree to ever be at the pond.
Almost all the options in the conversation will have the same conclusion except for the speech one. If you try Henry’s speech skill on her, then your reputation with her will drop, so it is better not to use it.
Now, the innkeeper will bring Katherine the wine she came here for. So, when done, Henry would speak to her again this time, being more persuasive and getting some information out of her. She will tell you that there is a big wedding coming and that will be your only chance to speak to Lord von Bergow.
Learning About The Wedding And Doing Some Chores
After your conversation with Katherine, you will need to learn more about the wedding. Thankfully, the innkeeper keeps tabs on what’s going around, so she will give you some interesting scoops. When Katherine leaves, the innkeeper will approach and ask you to work to pay for what you have eaten.
Accept the work she is offering, and then you will be allowed to ask her about the wedding. Following that, learn the important information about the wedding, and you will learn that it is taking place at Fort Semine and is between Lord Olda Semine and Agnes Thrush.
The wedding is for the invited people only and only a handful of them have invitations. Now that you have some useful information, go back to Hans and tell him everything. While he would be excited to hear about that, all of his enthusiasm would die after hearing they would need to work.
You can speak to Svatya Thrush, a brother of the bride and a noble, to learn more about the wedding. He will invite you to play a game of dice with him and promises to invite you to the wedding upon defeating him, but he’s lying, so it is better to ignore him. The more reliable way to get into the wedding is by speaking to the Miller or the Blacksmith.
He will refuse to do any type of chore and will pin everything on you to do, so try not to lose your reputation with him. So it is time to carry the sacks to the pantry. Approach the wagon nearby, grab the sack, and take it to the pantry. It’s pretty fun, right? Just do it two more times and you are good to go.
When you have carried three sacks to the pantry, go outside and a cutscene will start. Hans will get into a heated argument with Svatya. You could try to calm them, but it won’t work, so try to take Hans’ side to gain some reputation.
Take Part In The Brawl
When the argument is over, a brawl will take place where, of course, you will have to do most of the work and beat up four men. You will be fighting with your fists, but the fundamentals are the same. Just perform some perfect blocks and hit the opponent with some of your best punches.
When you have defeated them, Hans and Henry will get arrested and, yet again, things have taken a turn for the worse. However, things are about to get even worse as Hans will turn on Henry and whatever you say to him won’t matter as the outcome will be the same, so it’s time to clear your heart.
When the two of them are released from the stocks, Hans will still be in a pretty bad mood and storm off. However, this works better for you as now you have freedom and can do anything you want, but it isn’t going to be easy.
