Civilization 7 – Military Legacy And Military Victory Guide

If you want to get a Military Victory in Civilization 7, you need to be prepared because the Modern Age requirements are a bit of a doozy. That’s because the concept itself is highly dependent on (a) the number of remaining civs/players, (b) how much they’ve expanded, and (c) the Ideology that they selected.

You can learn more about these details in our Ideologies guide. What’s important to remember is that civs with no ideology grant +2 points for each settlement that you capture. Meanwhile, civs with an opposing ideology grant +3 points for each settlement.

• Step 1: Study the Political Theory civic.
• Step 2:
  • Study any Ideology civic–i.e. Democracy, Fascism, or Communism.
  • Research the Combustion tech.
• Step 3:
  • Research the Flight rech.
  • Capture an ideological enemy’s settlement (or those from a civ without any ideological belief).
• Step 4: Score 10x points in total.
• Step 5: Score 15x points in total.
• Step 6: Score 20x points in total.

There’s still one more step: You have to complete the Operation Ivy project in one of your cities. Once you’re done, you’ll achieve your long-awaited Military Victory.
