What are the differences between foundation level and leader level?
Foundation XP in Civilization 7, also known as the Foundation Path, is akin to your account’s overall level. Think of it as a way to track your progress not just in a single match, but throughout the game’s lifespan as you continue to play.
Leader XP, as the term implies, is tied to a specific historical figure that you choose at the start of each match. Basically, it’s like earning rewards as you level up and “main” a particular character.
Challenges that grant XP can be found in your profile page (i.e. your badge icon at the top-right corner on the main menu). Click your badge, then go to the Challenges tab to see the Foundation and Leader categories.
