The reason why My Melody is on the island in the first place is due to being invited there to open her own store. Big Challenges is a cute, but slightly perplexing, alligator and is best friends with TOPHAT. To find TOPHAT, players need to head to the Seaside Resort and look for him before they reach the pier.
Perhaps one of the most beneficial companions to choose in Hello Kitty Island Adventure Deluxe, when players befriend and unlock Big Challenges, they will open the Vacuum mechanism. Essentially, this means that whenever the player is walking through a populated area, Big Challenges will pick up any and all foraged pieces automatically.
