The collaboration has only been in the wild for about a day, and, surprising nobody, complete sets of the cans are already appearing on eBay in Japan.

The new crossover between the two brands went live in Japan on February 4. The 17 different Pokemon cards are split across six different coffee types, meaning fans will have to drink a lot of the beverage if they want to collect them all.

Retailing at around 154 Japanese Yen (~$1), the special cans can be bought individually or as part of a six-pack.

The first set of cards comes from the new Boss EX Evolutionary Light Sweet Coffee and features an Eevee, Eevee ex, and Flareon ex card, each from the recently released Terastral Festival set. The Boss Rainbow Mountain Blend coffee includes Sprigatito, Mimikyu, and Tatsugiri cards. Boss’ Luxury Light Sweet cans feature three Electric-type Pokemon, Miraidon ex, Pikachu ex, and Jolteon ex. Premium Boss has Quaxly, Koraidon ex, and Vaporeon ex cards, Unsweetened Black includes Charizard, N’s Reshiram, and Fuecoco, and Cafe au Lait has a special Pikachu and Eevee coins.

The collaboration offers more than just pretty cans, though, with Japanese residents able to win special Suntory x Pokemon prizes, including limited trading cards, Pokemon cushions, lunchboxes, and jackets.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, given the extreme levels of hype around the Pokemon TCG at the moment, which has seen card prices skyrocket by up to 150 percent, this collaboration has already started appearing on eBay in Japan.

The listings, which ship internationally, start from around $78 with free postage. It’s not a horrific price, given its limited availability, but I’m not sure who’s really in the market for this. The seller is making a tasty $60 on it either way.
