Om And On – Alex Moukala
Om and On is one of the first tracks you’re likely to encounter from Avengers: Endgame musician Alex Moukala. It’s a totally funky dance track, and if you follow Moukala on social media, you’ll notice all of their signature sounds.
That by no means makes it easy, though. Om and On is a Slime-heavy song that requires you to cycle between green, blue, and yellow creatures, making sure not to lose your concentration. Throw in some Bats and Shielded Skeletons, and you’re in for a tough time.

Spookhouse Pop – Danny Baranowsky
Spookhouse Pop is another early-game song in Rift of the Necrodancer. While on easy and medium difficulties, things aren’t too bad; the game ramps things up on hard and impossible by doubling the BPM.
It features tons of Wyrms, which are likely to tie your fingers in knots at this faster speed, and coupled with the other enemies coming your way, it’s a tricky song.

Another Alex Moukala track makes an appearance, this time featuring Aram Zero. It blends Japanese sounds with guitar riffs and electronic dance to create a wholly unique tune.

Suzu’s Quest – Sam Webster & Nick Nausbaum
This song can leave you truly stumped for quite some time in Rift of the Necrodancer’s story mode, even if you’re playing on medium.
While the beats line up nicely with the enemy patterns, if you’ve not gotten yourself used to the Blademasters’ movements or off-beat enemies yet, you’re likely to struggle.

King’s Ruse – Danny Baranowsky
King’s Ruse soundtracks one of Rift of the Necrodancer’s earliest boss battles. It’s much slower-paced and shorter than many other songs in the game, but don’t let that fool you.
Despite its slower BPM, it still manages to throw tons of enemies at you, many of which you rarely encounter, and it couples them with star-shadowed foes just to make things that little bit harder.

Rift Within – Josie Brechner
Rift Within is Josie Brechner’s hardest solo-composed song in Rift of the Necrodancer. It’s one of the most upbeat songs in the whole game, with a high BPM and erratic sounds.

This is where the difficulty really starts to amp up. Brave the Harvester is full of crunchy metal guitar riffs and contains the second-highest BPM in the entire game.

Baboosh – Danny Baranowsky & Josie Brechner
Baboosh combines the sounds of two of Rift of the Necrodancer’s most prolific musicians to create an incredibly difficult EDM/Drum and Base song.
It melds some of the game’s hardest enemies, including the finger-twisting Wyrms, plus some early-song traps, and expects you to keep your cool for over three minutes. It’s a toughy and one of the first x30 Intensity songs in the game.

Necro Sonatica – Jules Conroy
Necro Sonatica looks at the tracks that came before it and laughs in their faces. It’s the last song before the game’s final boss in the game’s story mode, and it packs a punch.
It’s a metal banger, complete with epic riffs and stacks upon stacks of enemies. Necro Sonatica is a Skeleton-heavy track, so expect to see them in all colors, and it features lots of off-beat enemies, too. Final Fugue – Danny Baranowsky
Final Fugue is a heavy prog rock song that soundtracks the game’s final boss, and it’s a real doozy. Clocking in at a whopping four minutes and 19 seconds, it’s the longest song in the game, and you’ll need your concentration to be on point throughout.
Final Fugue is a test of everything you’ve learned in Rift of the Necrodancer, with the game throwing every enemy type, movement pattern, and trap at you. It starts off slow, but by the closing stages, your fingers will have done a full workout.
