Many of the main quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 start simply and quickly get complex. The Via Argentum quest features a lot of talking to NPCs and evidence collection to begin with, but soon you have to creep through tunnels and take on groups of guards.

When Does Kingdom Come: Deliverance Take Place?

Ever wonder exactly when and where Kingdom Come Deliverance takes place? Here’s what you want to know.

In your search for evidence against Vavak, the quest soon sends you on a search for a secret mint. You suspect that Vavak and Buresh are involved in illegal coin printing, and you need to work out where they’re doing it. However, finding and navigating the mint to find the evidence you need isn’t easy.

Secret Mint Location

The first thing you need to do is find the secret mint’s location. You’re given a vague area to search in, but the mint is hidden underground.

Head to the area and follow the road past some old wooden buildings. You then need to head into the trees on the right of the path, into some clearings. In the ground, you’ll spot a hole with a ladder leading down. Head down the ladder (and a few more additional ladders) to get into the secret bunker where the mint is.

What Bribe To Ask For

Once you’re in there, you’ll meet Buresh. After some back and forth, he’ll offer you a bribe to go away and leave them to it. If you refuse, you’ll have to fight him and the other guards down in the bunker.

Just because you accept the bribe, it doesn’t mean you have to leave them to it. You can always accept the bribe and attack them afterwards.

If you want to accept the bribe, you need to make sure you’re asking for the right amount. You don’t want to ask for too little and you don’t want to make Buresh angry. When prompted, ask for a Large Bribe, which is 475 Groschen. After accepting, the conversation will end. Buresh will refuse to give you any evidence against Vavak.

How To Get Evidence Against Vavak

Once you’ve accepted a bribe, wait for Buresh to walk off alone. He’ll head towards the entrance to the bunker, so follow quietly behind him.

Once it’s safe, either knock him out or kill him. You’ll have to fight him and keep your fingers crossed that none of the other guards hear you. With him dead or unconscious, move the body to somewhere the other guards are less likely to find it. Loot his body and take the following items:

  • Letter from Buresh
  • Letter from Vavak
  • Records Chest Key

Be sure to take all of the evidence, as it’ll make the next part of the quest much easier to navigate.

Now, wait it out until nighttime, at which point the other guards will go to sleep. Head to the table in their main room, where they’re sleeping, and grab the set of keys. Those keys open the door along the corridor nearby.

In there, you’ll find the real secret mint room, where some people are creating the coins. They say they don’t want to leave, even when you try to prompt them too.

In that room, there are a couple of chests you can loot, one of which is opened using the key you looted from Buresh’s body.

In the chest, you’ll find the secret mint ledgers, which is exactly what you were looking for to prove that Vavak was involved. You can then take whatever you want from those chests and leave the area. Just try not to be caught on your way out.
