One of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s most important features is time, as it’s very possible to miss deadlines for quests and miss content simply because you slept through it or weren’t there when someone asked you to be. While you’ll always want to make the most of your time, sometimes you’ll want to progress time to another day or set hour.

There are multiple ways of progressing time outside of the obvious answer of just playing the game. Here are all the ways you can progress time and how to do them in-game.

How To Wait In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The Skip Time Wheel In The Game

Skipping Time can be done anywhere as long as you’re not currently in combat, in a dangerous location, or in the middle of a story mission that needs to be completed right then. To do so, just open up the wait menu:

  • Touch Pad on the PlayStation
  • T on Keyboard
  • View on Xbox

This menu will be a 24-hour wheel showing you when the sun rises and sets, along with what time it currently is. You can choose to wait for as many hours as you’d like but just be warned that waiting greatly drains your exhaustion and hunger.

This menu can also be used to check what time it is whenever needed as you can see the time and close the menu without actually waiting.

Other Ways To Advance Time In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

While waiting seems to be the easiest way of advancing time, you can also advance time by fast traveling and sleeping. Sleeping is by far the best method as long as you have somewhere to sleep. Sleeping lets you also save the game for free while also restoring your exhaustion and your hunger will be reduced at a much slower rate than rating.

Fast Traveling will also advance time and while you fast travel a small wheel will appear and show you how much time is passing while you fast travel. That being said, there’s no way to decide how long you fast travel for or how long the trip will take. This is a very unreliable method, and should almost never be used to advance time. Outside of those methods you’re only other option is to stand around and wait for whatever you want to happen, but at that point, you should use the wait feature as it will cause more exhaustion and hunger but save you more real-world time.
