When Does Kingdom Come: Deliverance Take Place?
Ever wonder exactly when and where Kingdom Come Deliverance takes place? Here’s what you want to know.
Haggling on a price with any merchant, whether you’re buying goods or selling items, is something you should do every time. If you’re paying full price for anything, you’re doing things wrong. However, the haggling process in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 isn’t particularly simple and learning how to get the best prices from each interaction takes some time.
Haggling Explained
When you’ve selected an item to buy or sell, press Square if you’re on PlayStation or X if you’re on Xbox to haggle. You’ll then see a vertical bar with a highest and lower price option. You then need to decide how much you’d like to pay or receive for the item and make the offer.
You can select multiple items at the same time and haggle for the prices of them collectively to save yourself some time.
The merchant will then either get angry and reject your offer, accept it, or come back with a counter offer. You can then choose another amount or accept their counter offer.
Above and below the price bar will be the patience indicator. If the bar fills up, the merchant will stop dealing with you and you’ll lose reputation with them. The more outrageous your suggested prices are, the more quickly the indicator will fill up.
How To Get The Best Prices
There’s one real tactic to follow in every haggling situation. First of all, offer the merchant a price roughly in the middle between the market price and the most expensive offer if you’re selling and cheapest if you’re purchasing.
Then, the merchant will counter offer nearer to the market price, so you just need to counter offer once more about half way between your initial offer and their counter.
Prices will change depending on your appearance, how clean you are, your reputation with the merchant, and where the merchant is located.
The merchant should then accept your offer and the deal will be completed. This tactic has worked every time we have haggled over an item.
