When Does Kingdom Come: Deliverance Take Place?

Ever wonder exactly when and where Kingdom Come Deliverance takes place? Here’s what you want to know.

However, there are plenty of times when you’re low on funds. The early side quests all require you to have some money before you even have the chance to explore. Thankfully, there are a few ways to earn money quickly in the game, you just need to know where to look.

Loot And Sell Gear

The best way to make money quickly is also the most risky way. If you loot high value gear from enemies you’ve defeated or steal stuff from houses, you can try to sell it.

However, not only is looting from the dead a crime in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, but many merchants won’t accept stolen items. You can hide them among various legitimate items and keep your fingers crossed, or accept a lower fee for them. Find some good armor, though, and you’ll be making money quickly.

If you don’t want them, you can sell the gear you’re given for pre-ordering Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. They’ll be in the chest in your room given to you by the blacksmith in Troskowitz.

Play Competitive Dice Games

While you play for a sausage for Mutt in the first game of Dice you play, you’ll be playing for Groschen from then on. If you’re confident in your skills, or have enough alternate Dice to put the chances in your favour, you can fleece the locals for all their money.

While you’ll likely start out wagering 10-20 Groschen, but you can start betting hundreds at a time once you start facing the high rollers in taverns in Kuttenherrg.

Dice games can also be found in every tavern and even at the side of many roads, so you won’t have to travel far to start making money. Just keep your fingers crossed that luck is on your side.

Win The Trosky Archery Competition

During the quest to find Mutt in the Trosky region, you’ll be asked to find a missing hunter. When you talk to his son, who doesn’t really want to help you, you learn about an archery competition you can partake in.

Depending on the difficulty level you want to take on, you can earn money by beating two players in archery. The highest number of points after three shots wins everyone’s money.

If you choose the beginner option and bet five Groschen, you’ll be making 10 more in just a few minutes. You can keep playing it and grind more money too, until you feel comfortable playing the more experienced archers.

You’ll find the archery competition in the west of the Trosky region, just to the east of the lakes. You can see the exact location in the map screenshot above.

Complete Side Quests

While you’ll often need money to pay characters during side quests, particularly in the early hours, these quests can also be a great source of funds.

If you focus on the side quests that involve helping someone with an issue they’re having, you’ll often be given money as a reward at the end of the quest. You can then use that money where you need it elsewhere.
