GameSir has released a new version of its X3 Pro mobile controller with a design inspired by none other than the ever-quipping merc-with-a-mouth, Deadpool. Featuring a black and red color scheme reminiscent of the anti-hero’s tactical suit, the new GameSir X3 Pro Deadpool Edition is available directly from GameSir for $100.
The Deadpool-themed X3 Pro joins other Marvel characters like Thanos and Hulk, who have received their own special-edition gaming controllers from GameSir. While the Thanos and Hulk controllers are based on the GameSir G8 Plus, the new Deadpool controller is a reskin of the latest GameSir X3 Pro, featuring upgrades such as mechanical buttons and an integrated cooler.

GameSir X3 Pro Mobile Controller Review: A Cool Concept with Some Catches
Like gaming PCs, phones are being pushed to their limits with lifelike graphics. The X3 Pro attempts to maximize the potential of mobile gaming.
Like previous special edition controllers, the premium paint job comes at a cost. The X3 Pro Deadpool Edition is priced at $100, which is $20 more expensive than the standard X3 Pro controller. For the price, you get the controller, a USB-C cable, a matching storage case, and extra stick caps and a D-pad. While there is no clear timeline for the controller’s availability on third-party retailers like Amazon, it is currently up for grabs at GameSir.
The GameSir X3 Pro Deadpool Edition Design and Features
Aside from the cosmetic changes, the design, features, and performance remain similar to the standard X3 Pro we reviewed. It comes with drift-free Hall Effect sticks, along with other advanced features like gyro and rumble support. Mechanical micro-switches on the D-pad and face buttons make them more tactile and satisfying to use than most cheaper offerings on the market. You can even swap the stick caps or rearrange the face buttons to suit your preferences and playing style.
The biggest draw for anyone purchasing the X3 Pro Deadpool Edition or the standard model is the integrated cooler. Most smartphones tend to overheat during extended gaming sessions, which not only makes them uncomfortable to use but also impacts gaming performance. This controller addresses the issue with a 900 mm² cooling plate and a rear-mounted fan that blows a constant stream of cool air onto the phone, preventing thermal throttling.

There are a lot of options for mobile gaming controllers these days. This guide takes a closer look at the best mobile gaming controllers in 2024.
The X3 Pro performed well during Game Rant’s review, keeping a Pixel phone running well below acceptable temperatures throughout intense, extended gaming sessions. We also found it to be one of the best controllers for eSports and competitive gamers, as the Hall Effect sticks and microswitches offer a solid combination for rapid and precise inputs. Given that the new Deadpool controller is a reskin of the X3 Pro, we expect its real-world performance to be very similar.
Add More Marvel-Themed Controllers to Your Collection
The Thanos and Hulk-themed GameSir G8 Plus mobile controllers are excellent options if you want to expand your special edition controller collection. These are reskinned versions of the G8 Plus, which is an excellent controller on its own. Compatible with most Android and USB-C iPhones, these controllers will enhance your mobile gaming experience with Hall Effect sticks, gyro support, and more comfortable, full-size triggers. The only downside of the G8 Plus is the lack of a built-in fan, but it makes up for it with extra back buttons.
