Aglaea is the first 5-star limited Remembrance character in Honkai: Star Rail. She’s a damage dealer who is effective against multiple enemies, but given her innate SPD and action advance mechanics, she’s not too shabby against single targets either. Still, she’ll need a good build before she can start churning out big numbers.
Building Aglaea is more or less the same as other members of the HSR cast. She’s a straightforward character with a relatively simple kit, and she’s easy to use in combat as well. If you’re looking for some insight on how to build Aglaea, here are our recommendations for her Relics, Light Cones, and stats.

Best Aglaea Build in HSR
Aglaea is a Remembrance character who summons Garmentmaker, a sentient mannequin that can wield a sword just as well as its master can. Together, Aglaea and Garmentmaker strike like lightning in terms of both speed and power.
There aren’t many options for Remembrance characters when it comes to gear sets and Light Cones as of writing, but the ones that are in the game work extremely well with Aglaea. In a nutshell, build her like you would any other DPS carry.
Relics and Stats
Ideal Aglaea Relics |
||
---|---|---|
Relic Set |
Effect |
|
Hero of Triumphant Song |
Increases ATK by 12%. When the wearer’s Memosprite is on the field, increase the wearer’s SPD by 6%. When the Memosprite attacks, increases the wearer and Memosprite’s CRIT DMG by 30% for 2 turns. |
|
Wondrous BananAmusement Park |
Increase the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 16%. When a target summoned by the wearer is on the field, CRIT DMG increases by an additional 32%. |
As of writing, the best Relic and Planar Ornament sets for Aglaea are Hero of Triumphant Song and Wondrous BananAmusement Park respectively. Both cater to characters that can summon units, so using them is a no-brainer.
However, if you’re having no luck getting well-rolled Relics for these sets, consider using the following:
- 2PC/2PC combo of any Relic set that gives +ATK% or Lightning DMG
- Rutilant Arena
- Frontline Firmament: Glamoth
Consider crafting Relics using Wishful Resin in HSR. These can guarantee a piece to have at least two desired substats.
Rutilant Arena and Glamoth Ornaments won’t affect Garmentkeeper, but they’ll still buff Aglaea’s own damage, which is useful for whenever she’s in her Ultimate state. Also, BananAmusement Park’s 32% CRIT DMG bonus does not affect Memosprites. Regardless, the latter is still going to be her BiS Ornament set, but make sure to have enough CRIT Rate to take advantage of it.
As for stats, try your best to reach or come close to the following breakpoints:
- ATK: ~2000 (without buffs)
- CRIT Rate/DMG: 80/160
- SPD: 160
- Energy Regen: 119.4%
Aglaea’s Ultimate costs a whopping 350 Energy, which is why it’s better to use an Energy Regeneration piece on one of her Planar Ornaments instead of an ATK% or Lightning DMG one, especially if you don’t have Sunday.
As with most characters, Aglaea’s best Light Cone is her Signature LC, Time Woven Into Gold. It passively gives her 12% extra SPD, and it makes her and Garmentmaker gain stacks of Brocade every time they attack. Brocade increases Aglaea and Garmentmaker’s CRIT DMG and Basic ATK DMG by 9% per stack at S1, ramping up to 15% per stack at S5. Brocade stacks up to six times.
Alternative options include:
- Sweat Now, Cry Less: Gain 12% CRIT Rate and deal 24% more DMG while the user’s Memosprite is on the field (S1).
- Genius’ Greeting: Gain 16% bonus ATK. After the wearer uses their Ultimate, increase the wearer’s and their Memosprite’s Basic ATK DMG by 20% (S1).
Given the limited number of Light Cones available for Remembrance units, these are the only usable 4-star LCs for Aglaea as of writing. Sweat Now, Cry Less is going to be the best 4-star option for her thanks to its CRIT and damage bonuses, but it can only be obtained from the battle pass.
Traces
Level up Aglaea’s abilities in the following order:
- Thorned Nectar (Basic ATK)
- Body Brewed By Tears (Garmentmaker Talent)
- Dance, Destined Weaveress (Ultimate)
- Thorned Snare (Garmentmaker Skill)
- Rosy-Fingered (Talent)
- Rise, Exalted Renown (Skill)
Most of Aglaea’s damage comes from her Basic ATK (especially its enhanced state), her Ultimate, and Garmentmaker’s own attacks. After leveling up her most important skills, unlock the rest of her Major and Minor Traces next.
