All Coffee Recipes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

The Espresso Machine in Hello Kitty Island Adventure is just one of several tools you can use to make food/gifts for your in-game friends. Some characters have certain coffee recipes as their favorite gifts, making the Espresso Machine extremely valuable in grinding friendship experience.

You may have noticed the Espresso Machine at Hello Kitty’s store only to quickly realize it’s not working. You’ll need to use the other Espresso Machine in Island Adventure until you unlock the quest to fix the one owned by Hello Kitty. The working Espresso Machine is located in Rainbow Reef. Your character will need to learn to swim and dive before they can access the machine and start making coffee.

How to Unlock the Espresso Machine

Where to Find Hangyodon

The working Espresso Machine is found in Comedy Hall, which is where Hangyodon is located. If you open your map, you can see Hangyodon’s icon in the waters of Rainbow Reef. You’re going to need the Flippers and Snorkel to access Comedy Hall.

• The Flippers can be crafted with Fins (given to you by Keroppi) and a Strap. You can loot the chest at the end of the dock near Keroppi in Spooky Swamp for the Strap item.
• The Snorkel crafting plans are unlocked when you complete “Deep Diving.” This is a quest that opens up when you reach level 6 friendship with Kuromi. You’ll need x2 Iron Ingot, x2 Spark, and x10 Rubber to make the Snorkel.

With these, dive into Rainbow Reef and enter the Comedy Hall. You’ll meet Hangyodon if you haven’t already, and you’ll be able to use the coffee machine behind the bar (left side of the room). Until you repair the Espresso Machine at Hello Kitty’s, you’re going to have to use the one here, so make sure you unlock the fast-travel mailbox outside.

How to Use Three Ingredients

At first, you’ll only be able to use two ingredients to make coffee/drinks. To use up to three ingredients, you’ll need to raise Hangyodon’s friendship level to 4. You should give Hangyodon Aquatic Material to level him up quicker. This is a two-heart gift, meaning he’ll earn more experience points and give you more materials (Candelnuts).

How to Unlock Coffee Recipes

All coffee recipes use x1 Candelnut, which you can get by giving gifts to Hangyodon. The second and third ingredients will come from your food pouch (ex: Strawberries, Banana, Flour). Several characters like being gifted the drinks you can make with the Espresso Machine, but the most noteworthy is Cinnamoroll. The Chocolate Chai is a three-heart gift for Cinnamoroll, so you should keep this in mind if you’re trying to increase his friendship.

Some recipes can be unlocked by completing quests, but you can also get recipes by simply combinging the right ingredients. Here’s how to get coffee recipe in Hello Kitty Island Adventure:
