When Does Kingdom Come: Deliverance Take Place?

Ever wonder exactly when and where Kingdom Come Deliverance takes place? Here’s what you want to know.

Since different herbs are used in different recipes, you will need to hunt the forests and fields for exactly what you need. While some herbs, such as nettle and dandelion, are found everywhere, you need to look carefully for the rarer ones. Belladonna, which is needed for some of the best potions, is among the hardest herbs to find.

Where To Buy Belladonna

Of course, you can buy fresh and dried Belladonna from any herbalist or apothecary in the game. Head to one and buy whatever you need, with Belladonna being priced at 3.5 Groschen each. You can then use whatever you’ve bought at an alchemy bench to craft the potions you need.

Belladonna is used in both Lethean Water, which lets you respec your skills in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and Saviour Schnapps, which is used to save your progress.

The best place to buy the herbs is in Kuttenberg city. If you head to the south of the town, there’s a herbalist in the market and an apothecary down the street heading to the west. Both stores will only accessible between the hours of 9am and 6pm in-game.

Belladonna Locations

In the description of the herb in the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 menu, it suggests you look “in clearing and in leafy woods.”

However, Belladonna is extremely rare and you’ll waste a lot of time if you keep just looking around. We’ve found it very hard to find ourselves. That’s in part due to its flowers not really showing when you look around for it. Most of the plant is green and blends into everything else.

To get Belladonna in the Trosky region, there are two places you can go. Both exact locations are in the screenshots above, but you can look along the part that goes north on the west side of Troskowitz. Once the path reaches some trees, you should find limited Belladonna plants to harvest in there.

If you need to dry any herbs you’ve bought, you can take them to a drying rank and dry them there. That will ensure they last longer and you can carry them in your inventory until you need them. Much like raw meat, herbs expire quickly in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Alternatively, you can head to the woods south west of Zhelejov. Along the curved path in the middle of that forest area, you’ll stumble across a nameless spring.

There, you’ll be able to find a few Belladonna plants by the path. Also, there is a basket with a white cloth over the top of it. Inside, you’ll be able to grab 21 Belladonna. You can leave it there to keep it fresh and come back whenever you need more.

Now that you’ve picked whatever Belladonna you need, head to an alchemy table to make the potions you need.
