Yeah I was reading this earlier my first thought is if you want to make a successful console you need no traces of PC in it at all by that I mean you must have 100% of actions must be able to be performed from a controller and you can’t have a single shred of kbm.
I owned the steamlink years ago and I always hated it because firing up any game often resulted in running back and forth to the PC to click out of a pop up or type creds into a launcher it was simply to painful to use essentially for streaming games like fallout New Vegas or GTA IV which were more in at the time
If I was ti comit to a steam console I’d want a perfectly streamlined experience and that just not what i get on steam today there is ro much friction when I try and launch a game
