Sometimes it seems like there’s a big gap between events in Pokemon TCG Pocket, but this is not one of those times. Only a day after the Cresselia ex Drop Event began, and there’s a new battle-focused event to keep you interested in the game.

Pokemon Pocket: Cresselia ex Drop Event Guide
Here’s how to play the Cresselia ex Drop Event in Pokemon TCG Pocket!
While the Cresselia ex Drop Event focuses on Solo Battles against a pretty simple AI opponent, the Space-Time Smackdown Emblem Event tasks you with collecting dozens of wins against real, live opponents in order to show your battle prowess. And if that seems a little daunting, don’t worry! We’ve got all you need to know right here!
What Is The Space-Time Smackdown Emblem Event?
Each time a new expansion is released, a new PVP emblem event is scheduled to celebrate. For the Space-Time Smackdown expansion, the first of these events runs from February 4, 2025 until February 25, 2025.
During the three-week-long event, you can earn new emblems to display on your profile by winning Event Matches against other players. You can earn a Participation Emblem by winning a single match, or shoot for the Gold Emblem by farming 45 wins. Thankfully, these wins do not need to be consecutive, so if you play enough games you should eventually win enough matches for the top emblem.
Space-Time Smackdown Emblem Event Missions And Rewards
The main draw for this event is a shot at new emblems, which is right in the name. But for players more interested in functional rewards, you can also earn Pack Hourglasses and Shinedust.
There are four levels of emblems available during this event, which you can earn by winning progressively more PVP matches.

Space-Time Smackdown Emblem Event Tips
- The focus of this event is winning a lot of matches, not on maintaining a certain win ratio or streak. No matter what deck you play, if you grind enough matches, you should earn that top emblem eventually.
- Since the event runs for 21 days and you need 45 wins, you only need two or three wins per day during this event. Don’t burn yourself out trying to get the emblem in a single day.
- If you hit a losing streak, take a break. It’s easy to get tilted when you lose a few games in a row, and then you’ll start making simple play mistakes. Take a few minutes to drink a glass of water or go for a walk before jumping back in.
- Pay attention to which decks you see frequently, and be ready to switch decks. Pikachu ex and Celebi ex aren’t the top decks anymore, but not everyone has a playset of Darkrai ex yet. As more people build new decks, your unbeatable one might need some adjustments.
