NetEase Games surprised fans by announcing that new skins for Captain America and Luna Snow will be coming to Marvel Rivals on February 7. Marvel Rivals is currently in Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, which has introduced Dracula as a major antagonist. After the iconic vampire ensnares both Doctor Strange and Blade in a trap, the Fantastic Four step up to save New York City from impending doom.
Captain America is a Vanguard in Marvel Rivals, which means his primary objective is to mitigate damage and protect his teammates as much as possible. In order to help him do this, he can raise his shield to block incoming ranged and melee attacks. Luna Snow, however, is a Strategist, and does her best to provide support for her fellow players. She can do this in a number of ways, but primarily focuses on healing teammates in order to keep them from being eliminated in the middle of a conflict. Both characters play crucial roles in the popular hero shooter, which is why many fans are excited to see them get new skins.

Captain America’s outfit ditches his usual mask and features more subdued color tones than his usual bright red, white, and blue outfit. He also has two triangular shields on his forearms, just as he did in the film. Marvel Rivals‘ Luna Snow has received a big makeover, with an outfit that features bright pink and purple colors accented by silver. The hero also appears to be sporting longer hair than usual, and is wearing headphones.
While a large portion of the community is excited to see new skins come to the game, many fans are wondering when they’ll see Human Torch and The Thing come to Marvel Rivals. After releasing Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman at the beginning of Season 1: Eternal Night falls, NetEase Games announced that fans would see the next two heroes arrive in a large mid-season update.
