Bozhena and Jakesh’s reconciliation
After a rather surprising turn of events, you return to Bozhena’s hut with Pavlena alongside you. The thing is, you’re not done yet with the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Bad Blood quest. As the quest name implies, there’s a deep hatred between Bozhena and Jakesh, a villager who lost his son at birth, a baby who Bozhena wasn’t able to baptize. Given the beliefs at the time, Jakesh is unable to forgive Bozhena for damning his stillborn child.
Still, you have the chance to get the two to reconcile. In Bozhena’s case, we saw an option to suggest such a thing, though we failed this dialogue check.
Soon thereafter, we visited Jakesh and we got the following options:
- Persuasion: “Indirect guilt is still guilt.”
- Impression: “Revenge never ends well.”
- Intimidation: “If you don’t make amends, I’ll kill you.”
- “I won’t try to convince you.”
Neither the Persuasion nor Impression responses worked in our playthrough, so we had to rely on Intimidation. Henry’s remarks scared Jakesh out of his wits, causing him to agree to a reconciliation. When you’re done, return to Bozhena to tell her of the news. You could also hand over 150x Groschen as Jakesh’s payment for the trouble that his hired hands caused.
