The Dice game, known in part as Farkle, is back in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Whether it be out and about in camps, or at taverns in towns, you’ll find plenty of people willing to give you a match. You’ll even find people like priests who are big fans of gambling on the game.

When Does Kingdom Come: Deliverance Take Place?
Ever wonder exactly when and where Kingdom Come Deliverance takes place? Here’s what you want to know.
However, it’s not as much of a game of luck as it initially seems. There are things you can do to give yourself a better chance of coming out on top, ensuring the dice are more likely to roll your way. Once you’ve learned the rules, it’ll be time to learn the intricacies of the game.
Dice Game Rules
The basic rules of Dice are nice and simple. You roll six dice and earn score depending on the numbers on the dice you roll. You get the following points for the following combinations of numbers.
Dice Rolled |
Score |
---|---|
One |
100 |
Five |
50 |
One, Two, Three, Four, and Five |
500 |
Two,Three, Four, Five, and Six |
750 |
One, Two, Three, Four, Five, and Six |
1500 |
Devil’s Head |
Adds one value to any combination of dice. |
One, One, One |
1000 |
Two, Two, Two |
200 |
Three, Three, Three |
300 |
Four, Four, Four |
400 |
Five, Five, Five |
500 |
Six, Six, Six |
600 |
Adding another of the same number to a score doubles the value. For example, rolling four twos is 400, five twos is 800, and six twos is 1600.
You select and save the points for scoring dice, then continue or pass to let the other player roll. You take turns until one of the two players hit the maximum score.
If you score from all six dice, you get to roll again.
There are also different levels of matches, each with a different betting amount:

How To Win At Dice
There are a few things to focus on when playing dice if you’re trying to win. First of all, using alternate dice and badges will help, but those won’t be introduced to you until later in the game.
When rolling standard dice, you should avoid scoring single fives. Ones are fine to save, as you’ll slowly rack up score 100 at a time. If you roll a one, save it and roll the rest of the dice again to give you a good chance of a multiple still.
Since sequential rolls are hard, try and aim for three of a kind or better, as that’ll get you score very quickly. But don’t ignore single ones. It’s certainly possible to win with single ones rolled.
Alternate Dice Explained
Throughout the game, you will find alternate dice, each of which has a particular effect. They might be weighted to roll certain numbers, or help you out in other ways.
Alone, they’re often not that useful, but get multiple that have the same effect and you’ll be able to rack up score quickly. Before starting a match, you’ll be able to switch standard dice out for special dice you have in your inventory.
How Badges Work In Dice And How To Get Gold Badge
Badges are another feature that change the game significantly. You can use one badge in a game, should you choose a match type involving them, and they do things like boost your score or let you roll certain dice more than once. They allow you to get a leg up on the opposition.
Both players have to have a badge of the same level – tin, silver or gold – and you will often lose the badge as part of the wager.
There’s a trophy/achievement you can unlock for getting a gold badge. The easiest to get is the Gold Wedding Badge, which is earning by winning the three matches at the wedding ceremony in Semine.
