When Does Kingdom Come: Deliverance Take Place?
Ever wonder exactly when and where Kingdom Come Deliverance takes place? Here’s what you want to know.
You’ll get to Maleshov castle via some tunnels and have two objectives: save Hans and find Rosa’s book. The book is hidden in the tower, and Hans is held captive there. You don’t know the exact location of either, so you need to start by looking around. However, since there are guards in the area, you don’t want to waste too much time being caught or killed.
How To Find The Cook And Get The Maleshov Tower Key
Once you’re in Maleshov and on top of the battlements, head along them on the right-hand side of the castle. Then, open a door into a room with a guard inside. Stealth kill him and head downstairs.
At the bottom of the stairs, head left and there’s a door in front of you. After that door, ignore the guard at the wall and turn left into the room on the left.
In there, you’ll find Cook Drahomira – she’s carrying the keys you need for the main Maleshov tower. Either knock her out or steal from her to get the keys.
Take the following items from her:
- Maleshov Chambers Key
- Maleshov Fortress Key
- Maleshov Tower Key
How To Find And Save Hans Capon
With the keys in hand, head out again and go left. At the end of the wall, be careful of the guard moving back and forth. Wait for him to pass by hiding behind the kart.
Then, go past the main door, and up the stairs into the main Maleshov tower. Use the key you stole from the cook to open the door. Go through the door on the left and up the stairs.
You’ll see two guards and a woman talking there, so head back downstairs and hide until they come back down and sit by the fire. With them out of the way, head upstairs once more.
You can use a key you stole on first door and also on chests inside to take some stuff that can be sold for some Groschen later on.
There’s another door in that room, which has Lady Ofka sat by the fire inside. The book for Rosa is by the window in that room.
To find Hans, head upstairs and open the door to the middle room. A man called Vauquelin Brabant is in there with him.
You now need to escort them out, so give them weapons if you have enough to spare and tell them to wait until you give a signal. Once you’re out by the horses, give the signal for them to join you and make sure the coast is clear.
If you can only give a weapon to one of Brabant and Hans, pick Hans. He’ll be more useful in combat.
How To Get Rosa’s Book
The easiest way to grab Rosa’s book is to persuade Lady Ofka to give it to you, or creep past when she’s distracted. You just need to tell her you need it and she’ll relent.
Alternatively, if you back yourself in a fight, you can can ask Hans and Brabant to all head to the gate at the same time. That’ll cause chaos, but you’ll be able to grab the book from Lady Ofka’s room without her being in there to stop you.
Once you have it, you can find Rosa and give her the book once you’re back at Ruthard Palace.
You unlock the Tales of Kuttenberg trophy or achievement for returning the book Rosa she asked you to find for her.
