How to Get Prism of Belief Diamond in PoE 2
The Prism of Belief Diamond is an exclusive drop from the Arbiter of Ash at Difficulty 4. Arbiter of Ash is the most difficult boss in PoE 2, with one-shot mechanics, devastating damage, and very small windows of opportunity for DPS.
Where to Find Arbiter of Ash
Players can fight the Arbiter of Ash at the Burning Monolith by collecting three Crisis Fragments (Iron, Copper, and Stone), from the three corresponding Citadels on the Atlas. Citadels are randomly generated on the map, but they can be located through the fog of war by pathing towards the beams of light that shoot vertically up into the clouds.
How to Unlock Arbiter of Ash At Difficulty 4
To unlock the Arbiter of Ash boss fight at the highest difficulty, you will have to defeat him multiple times at lower difficulties. After Arbiter is defeated for the first time, you will receive 2 Arbiter Skill points in the Atlas tree. Allocate these points to unlock ‘+1 to Arbiter Difficulty’. Then, defeat the Arbiter again to unlock 2 points again and get another +1 to difficulty. Doing so four times puts the Arbiter at +4 Difficulty. Only defeating this variant gives you the chance to obtain the Prism of Belief Diamond.
Unlike every other pinnacle boss fight in PoE 2, players will get 6 attempts at defeating the Arbiter of Ash. However, the number of respawns goes down as players progress in boss difficulty tiers. At Difficulty 4, you only have one attempt at defeating the Arbiter of Ash.
How Does Prism of Belief Diamond Work in PoE 2
The reason the Prism of Belief Diamond is so coveted is because it offers a huge increase in DPS in the ultra endgame by increasing the level of key skills players may be using for their damage output by as much as +3. Don’t underestimate this increase as it stacks with other sources of +Skills, resulting in some truly wondrous results.
A great example is the Spark Sorceress, one of the most overpowered builds in Path of Exile 2. If this character equips a Prism of Belief Diamond with +3 to all Spark Skills in a Jewel socket, then equips a Staff that gives +7 to Level of all Lightning Spell Skills, and then corrupts their level 20 Spark Skill Gem to get a Level 21 Spark Skill, they’ll end up with a Spark that’s effectively level 31. And that’s without adding any of the passive skills from the skill tree, Amulets, or Rings.
The Prism of Belief Diamond will always drop pre-corrupted. You cannot use any currency on it to reroll its values.
How to Solve Prism Belief Diamond Not Working in PoE 2
There have been reports of players not seeing any differences in DPS when putting in a Prism of Belief Diamond in one of their Jewel sockets. This happens because Path of Exile 2 only updates the DPS toolkit when switching zones. Simply teleport to another area and check your DPS again; it will show the correctly updated value.
