You can snag a free copy of Monster Hunter Wilds right now if you’re in the market for a new gaming monitor. MSI is partnering with Capcom to bundle the upcoming hunt-action game with a select range of its QD-OLED and 4K monitors.
We’ve previously been impressed by MSI’s OLED monitors, as found in our MSI MPG 271QRX QD-OLED review, which earned a place on our best gaming monitor guide. What’s more, if you buy a QD-OLED MSI monitor you won’t just get Monster Hunter Wilds, but you’ll also get an additional $30 in Steam credit.
You can read all about the offer on MSI’s official page, and the promotion requires you to buy an eligible monitor, write a review of it for an eligible online store (including Newegg, Best Buy, and MSI’s own online store in the US), register your monitor at the MSI Member Center, and then submit the invoice your product and a link to your review to MSI.
MSI has made the following monitors eligible for the deal:
- MPG 321URX QD-OLED
- MPG 272URX QD-OLED
- MPG 274URF QD
The QD-OLED models produce fantastic image quality, with deep, vibrant colors backed by high refresh rates and fast response times, ensuring a great gaming experience. Each comes with a 240Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms response time.
You’ll find the MPG 321URX for around $950 on sites such as Newegg. For those after a smaller alternative, the 27-inch model is about $200 cheaper at $749.99.
MSI has included a non-QD-OLED monitor in the deal too, which is the MPG 274URF QD. It comes in at $4 This is simply just a “QD” model, or Quantum Dot, but it uses an IPS panel rather than an OLED model. The company calls it “Rapid IPS”, claiming it provides reduced “blur occurrence” when it’s set to lower refresh rates.
MSI’s deal is only available as stocks last, or on March 31, 2025, whichever is first.
