Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 is drawing nearer and nearer. Chapter 6 Season 1 debuted in December, and it will end in late February, giving way to the second season in the latest chapter. Since it’s still almost three weeks away, we don’t know a whole lot about who or what will be in Season 2. We do, however, know what the theme is going to be thanks to the latest leak. Here’s what we’ve learned.

What is Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2’s Theme?
According to the latest leaks, Season 2’s theme will be heist themed. This would not be the first time Epic has used this theme. They did it with an LTM several years ago called, appropriately, High Stakes Challenge. Given the connection, there’s a slight chance that mode will come back at some point next season, though that’s just speculation at this point.
The game files use the codename “RobberyGameplay”, which is how leakers have uncovered this theme. There is also going to be a new chainsaw launcher similar to the ripsaw item from Chapter 3 Season 3. The Flare Gun and C4 will also be unvaulted and added to the loot pool when the new season debuts on February 21.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 was all about Demon Hunters. The Shogun boss, several POIs, the overall design, and more were all related to Japanese culture, yokai, hunters, and more. It was one of the most accurate seasons to a theme that Epic Games has done yet. Chapter 6 Season 2 will have to follow in its footsteps. It will also likely merge the two themes unless the majority of POIs and landmarks are replaced.
This is currently a leak just like the recent Fortnite Iron Man rumor, so take it with a grain of salt. However, the season is in the game files, and the codename certainly lends itself to a heist-related season. Until Epic Games confirms it, which won’t happen until a week or so before the season arrives, this is all speculative.
