Deadly Dudes is a zombie survival strategy title by NetEase Games. In a world full of zombies where Dr. Brainy controls all the fierce zombies, the job is to save as many characters and fight beside them to defeat the zombies. As the title has heroes you’ll build your team with them, choosing the right hero is crucial. So, I made this Deadly Dudes Hero Tier List guide to help you make the right decision.
Deadly Dudes Hero Tier List: Best Heroes Ranked based on Class
Currently, there are 34 heroes available in the game. After completing a wave or level or a certain stage, you will unlock a new hero. You will also get heroes by recruiting them. Recruitment tickets can be used to make one or 10 draws at a time and if you’re lucky enough, you will get a hero.
Besides, there needs to be a certain amount of draws to unlock SSR heroes. To form your team, there are three classes of heroes in the game. Based on their attack, defense, health, and gear cap, they are divided into three classes: Shooter, Blaster, and Raider. Each class has its advantages and usability. They are as follows:
- Shooter: Shooter class heroes in the game are ranged attackers. Different shooters use different guns and based on their tiers, the guns bear a distinct amount of damage. Normally these heroes will keep their distance.
- Blaster: Blasters are also ranged attackers but use a close distance from the enemies. They use distance bombing weapons like grenade launchers, bazookas, rocket launchers, etc. These heroes are good for dealing with area-based damages.
- Raider: Raiders are also attackers but they normally are placed in front. These heroes use automatic rifles and machine guns to deal damage.

But these heroes play additional roles as well. There are three roles in this game. They are: DPS, Support, and Tank. Here are the details of these roles:
- Support: Support Heroes buff their teammates. Though their role is only defined as such, they play important roles by increasing the power of the other teammates.
- DPS: DPSs are damage dealers. They will attack and use brutal forces to deal damage to the enemies.
- Tank: These are simply defenders. From the creepy zombie attacks, these heroes help their teammates by bearing the damages dealt by the zombies.
These heroes also come with exclusive roles. Each class hero can play an additional role of Support, DPS, and Tank. Support heroes will buff the others in a squad. So, based on their roles, the tier list of heroes is as follows:

I played the game for several hours and then I learned everything inside it. Though I haven’t unlocked all the heroes as it will take much time, these heroes are ranked based on their basic damage and effectiveness. Remember that each hero is subject to change as the game is continuously bringing patch notes to buff and nerf the hero’s abilities.
Choosing the right team with the right heroes is crucial in Deadly Dudes. The game requires you to cut through the enemies/zombies and unlock new chapters. As each type of zombie has a distinct skill and attack system, heroes should be chosen in the way they can overthrow the evil zombies and teach Dr. Brainy a lesson.
You should always focus on the roles according to the mission you have. As I mentioned all the heroes are not acquired and you cannot get them all at the very beginning, so the only way to get them is by playing through. Now, here are the three best heroes in each class:
1. Brutus
Brutus is a Blaster and serves the role of a DPS as well. With the basic attack skill, he also has a good health count. His firearm can be upgraded multiple times to give you the ultimate damage. His skills are as follows:
- Scorching Punch
- Striking Assault
- John on Rampage
- Soul of Enhancement
2. Zane
Zane is a raider and tank at the same time. His skills include great attack ability and also good defense ability. With a grenade belt on his waist, he uses a futuristic submachine gun named Frost Bite. His skills include:
- Gold Rocket
- Unbreakable Defense
- King of Defense
- Golden Fatty!
3. Catherine
Catherine serves as a shooter and a support character in the game. This hero is as fierce as she looks. She uses a foregoer rifle to attack the enemies. Her skills include:

- Burning Fighting Spirit
- Health-Guard
