The new month brings another exciting season update to Clash Royale, with Season 68 titled ‘Lumber Love’ making its debut this February 2025. As always, the game continues to bring fresh content, and this season is no exception, featuring the return of the popular Card Evolution mechanic, a brand-new Common card, and several other exciting additions. In this article, I’ll provide an overview of everything you need to know about these updates.
Clash Royale Season 68 February 2025 Update Overview
New Card: Berserker
Clash Royale introduced Berserker, a new 2-elixir Common card this February 2025. This fast-attacking card brings a rapid attack mechanism, striking enemies rapidly with her axes while maintaining solid survivability against spells. When you give this card an overall look, it is pretty clear that she is a very valuable elixir card.
You can unlock Berserker for free now, with additional upgrade options available through in-game offers. A special Berserker Tutorial is also featured, allowing you to complete tasks and earn a new banner decoration and frame. Plus, her Mastery tasks offer rewards like Gold, Gems, and Wild Cards as you progress.
New Evolution: Lumberjack
Another massively overpowered evolution has stepped in. When defeated, the Evolved Lumberjack spawns an invisible ghost that continues fighting as long as it’s inside a Rage effect, which is aptly named Rage Ghost. Unlike the Royal Ghost, this spirit remains invisible while attacking and is immune to spells, though it can still be pushed or distracted.
You can unlock Lumberjack Evolution through the Pass Royale, with one evolution cycle per two deployments. I would see this as a potential threat in Trophy Road since higher levels of this card will make the Lumberloon strategy kind of overpowered.
New Tower Skins
As usual, we have one new Tower Skin that has been officially confirmed for the Pass Royale with this update. Based on the season of love, Valentines Tower Skin is unlocked once you have reached Tier 56 of the Premium Tier in the Pass Royale.
Emotes and Banners
Five new emotes will be coming, including via promotional, purchase, and Path of Legends. These new emotes will be based on the Season theme, Lumberjack evolution, and Berserker. Speaking of Banners, we will have 1 Banner for Diamond Pass Royale owners, 4 in the Banner Box, and 1 from the Season Shop.
Season Shop, Card Boosts, and Offers
The Season Shop has been updated with rewards available for exchange with season tokens. In addition to the cards available, banners and emotes stand out as valuable investments. Just like last time, we will have eight cards available in the shop.
Among them are Skeleton Dragons, Electro Dragon, Arrows, Elixir Golem, Healer, and Tornado, each priced at 500 tokens for a set of 100 or 25 cards depending on the rarity. Additionally, the Legendary Lumberjack and Ram Rider cards are available, each costing 1500 tokens for 1 card.
If you want to push some Card Evolutions, you can find Electro Dragon Shards in the Season Shop for 5000 tokens. Wild Shards for 6000 tokens and Common Book is also featured in the Season Shop for 10000 tokens. Four cards were picked for boost this time namely Rage, The Log, Mighty Miner, and Lumberjack.
