Best Lumberjack Evolution decks to use in Clash Royale
The Clash Royale Season 68 ‘Lumber Love’ February 2025 Update saw the arrival of Lumberjack evolution. When the Evolved Lumberjack is defeated, it activates its Rage Ghost ability that keeps fighting as long as it stays inside a Rage effect. Unlike the Royal Ghost, this ghost remains invisible even while attacking and cannot be hit by spells, though it can still be pushed or distracted.

1. Lumberjack, Balloon, Inferno Dragon, Electro Dragon, Bowler, Freeze, Snowball, Barbarian Barrel
Average Elixir Cost: 4.0
This Lumberloon deck was already a powerful late-game strategy, but with Lumberjack Evolution, it becomes even more chaotic. A bit on the heavier side, the Balloon remains the main win condition, helping you to clean up towers when boosted by Rage and helped by the Freeze.
Now the Freeze spell becomes even more important since you can exploit the win condition here. The Electro Dragon stuns swarms and slows enemy pushes. I used Inferno here, but you can also opt for Baby Dragon, whatever feels suitable for you. Bowler provides strong ground control, and Snowball and Barbarian Barrel help with cycling and defense. 2. Lumberjack, Fireball, Giant Skeleton, Baby Dragon, Firecracker, Bats, Clone, Zap
Average Elixir Cost: 3.5
This Lumberjack Clone deck is pure chaos, and it catches opponents off guard every time. Pairing it with Giant Skeleton is deadly as once cloned, you get double the bombs, wiping out defenses instantly. Baby Dragon and Firecracker clear swarms and help chip away at troops trying to stop the push.
Bats are great for cycling and dealing with air threats, while Fireball and Zap handle anything that tries to shut down the attack. The key is to drop Clone at the perfect moment right as the Lumberjack falls so everything gets the Rage boost at once. You can copy the deck here.
3. Lumberjack, Lava Hound, Baby Dragon, Mega Minion, Flying Machine, Tombstone, Poison, Barbarian Barrel
Average Elixir Cost: 3.9
This LavaLoon-style deck swaps the Balloon for a more control-oriented approach while keeping the Lumberjack Evolution as a key threat. The goal is to build a Lava Hound push, support it with Rage, and let the evolved Lumberjack run riot.
The Lava Hound acts as the main tank, soaking up damage while spawning Lava Pups for chip damage. Baby Dragon, Flying Machine and Mega Minion provide strong air support, while Tombstone stalls enemy tanks and helps with defense on the ground, and Poison clears out swarms and support units.
