It’s hard to beat the classics, and in the case of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Insomniac Games has already shown why this Marvel hero has the most iconic costume of all the heroes with his red and blue color scheme, joined by his younger Spidey’s black and red. As the two Spider-Men of New York City, each with decades of history in Marvel Comics, it’s no surprise that some classics and some new designs feature optional costume changes.

King In Black Suit
Miles Morales Becomes the King of the Symbiotes
- How to Get: Complete all Symbiote Nests
- First Appearance: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (2023)
- Worn by: Miles Morales
The King in Black is extremely influential in the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and while Knull himself isn’t directly in the game, his swirling symbol is an ominous reminder that he is indeed out there, and it’s represented in the heads of every Symbiote. As such, his influence is even more obvious in Miles’ Symbiote suit, the King in Black.
The suit has direct ties to Knull, with not only the swirl but the Symbiote symbol on the chest, as well as the sharp spikes and claws protruding from Miles’ suit. The King in Black Suit is a grand time for fans of Symbiotes and those who long for more Venom.

Forever Suit
A Black Panther-Inspired Suit for Miles
- How to Get: Reach Level 25 to Craft with 55 Tech Parts & 2 Rare Tech Parts
- First Appearance: Black Panther #5 (April, 2022)
- Worn by: Miles Morales
The culture of Wakanda is incredible, and that culture is engrained in the suit of Miles Morales’s Forever Suit. The Forever Suit looks like it’s a gift from Wakanda itself, and while the suit might be etched with the culture of this great nation, it’s not exactly writhe with Vibranium, so players can’t take gunfire and punches like it’s nothing.
The Forever Suit is one of Miles Morales’ best originals, especially with how it doesn’t exactly look like a Spider-Man suit with the panther claws and the cat lenses and ears. It’s a nice hybrid of Spider-Man and Black Panther, but despite the cool vibes of this suit, it’s unlikely that Spidey’s heading to Wakanda for a swing in his next adventure.

Miles Morales has 8 unique abilities in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but which are the best for your loadout to battle the criminals of NYC?
The Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Suit doesn’t just look great thanks to its color scheme, a familiar uniform from that of Nick Fury Sr., but it also looks great because of the connotations that S.H.I.E.L.D. is somewhere out there while New York City is kept safe with two Spider-Men, and it’s always nice for universe-building elements to join the Insomniac world.

Best There Is Suit
Miles Morales Unleashes His Inner Wolverine
- How to Get: Reach Level 52 to Craft with 105 Tech Parts & 7 City Tokens
- First Appearance: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (2023)
- Worn by: Miles Morales
While fans still await Insomniac Games’s Wolverine, they will have to tide things over with the Best There Is Suit. This Insomniac-original provides Miles with a suit inspired by the hairy Canadian hero with his great cowl, yellow and brown color scheme, and affinity for leather jackets.
The Best There Is Suit might not exactly scream a Miles Morales-original, but it’s still fun for this new Spider-Man to wear, especially if fans want something more Wolverine-like until more information comes to light about Insomniac Games’s next game. All webs and no Adamantium, this original is worth using, bub.

Classic Black Suit
Peter Parker’s Original Symbiote Suit from Secret Wars
- How to Get: Reach Level 50 to Craft with 100 Tech Parts & 2 Rare Tech Parts
- First Appearance: Amazing Spider-Man #252/Secret Wars #8 (May, 1984)
- Worn by: Peter Parker
Debuting all the way back in 1984’s Secret Wars, Spider-Man bonded with the Symbiote for the first time, and his new black suit would be his exclusive attire for almost four years. This is the suit that started it all, so without the black suit, there would perhaps be no Venom, nor would there be a galaxy of Symbiotes to worry about, which is why the Classic Black Suit is equally as important as it is cool.
An all-black and extremely sleek outfit, the Classic Black Suit is a must-have for fans of the Symbiote, as its simple design is extremely elegant. On top of the bold colors, the Classic Black Suit works amazingly in its other variations, as the purple one looks like an early coloration of Venom taken straight from the comics.

Into the Spider-Verse Suit
A Stylistic Suit That Runs in 24 FPS
- How to Get: Free Unlock
- First Appearance: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)
- Worn by: Peter Parker
One of Spidey’s best looks was a direct translation of his classic costume, into the beloved and iconic style of that seen in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The distinct animation and vibrant style made for some truly eye-popping visuals and intricate art, and to see it function so well in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is like watching another Spider-Verse adventure, except this one’s in a realistic New York City and not a cartoon.

Every Ability For Peter Parker In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Ranked
As Peter Parker fights his way through the crime wave of New York City in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, he’s going to need the best abilities to back him up.
Peter’s vibrant colors of red and blue work wonderfully, and the fact that there are low frame-rate animations only further the details of this Spider-Man who clearly shouldn’t be in this New York City, but it’s still fun to beat on the bad guys and swing through the streets as the one and only.

New Red and Blue Suit
Tom Holland’s Final Swing Suit from Spider-Man: No Way Home
- How to Get: Reach Level 58 to Craft with 115 Tech Parts & 3 Rare Tech Parts
- First Appearance: Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
- Worn by: Peter Parker
The final suit from Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home brings together a homage of all three live-action Spider-man variants into one incredible live-action suit. The vibrant colors of red and blue truly elevate this suit, and its translation into Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is something to admire as Spidey swings his way through New York City to save more citizens and keep his city safe.
The colors match wonderfully with the movie’s version, and the attention to detail from the suit is the best opportunity that fans have to see this suit in all its glory since it was only shown at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, and it’s still unclear if it will see the sun again in Spider-Man 4. As such, why not take this instant classic for a test drive?

- How to Get: Reach Level 9 to Craft with 35 Tech Parts & 1 City Token
- First Appearance: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)

While Andrew Garfield never got his trilogy in the live-action Spider-Man movies, he did gain heaps of redemption with his arc in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and perhaps those who still long for a conclusion to his trilogy can enjoy the therapeutic nature of swinging through New York City with his outfit from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which comes complete in all its spandex glory.
Insomniac’s turn at The Amazing Spider-Man 2 comes with a wonderful outfit with dazzling colors that are highlighted in their attention to detail under the NYC sun. Pairing with Spidey’s personality from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, this outfit is a great take on a classic that will only further remind fans how great Garfield was in the role.
