All Zipline Locations in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ll need to run back and forth between islands to complete requests and speak with visitors outside your starting island, Seaside Resort. You’ll likely unlock Island Adventure‘s fast-travel method first, but another way you can move from island to island is with ziplines. Naturally, the ziplines won’t be readily available for you, and there are a few prerequisites before they can be used.

“A Zipline Adventure” is the story quest you need to complete in order to use ziplines. If you’ve been consistent with gift-giving, then the character that starts this quest should already be at their required level. From there, following the tasks given to you during “A Zipline Adventure,” you’ll quickly unlock the ziplines feature.

How to Raise Pochacco’s Friendship

In order to use the ziplines, you’ll need to reach level 4 Friendship with Pochacco. Pochacco is found near the eastern road leading out of Seaside Resort’s main square. He’s also the one who gives you the Gudetama Snap quest.

Reach level 4 shouldn’t be an issue for you, but you’ll want to complete the “Gudetama Snap” quest to get some friendship points towards Pochacco. If you haven’t done so, you’ll also want to give him the souvenir gift that you received from My Melody as well as his Lost Luggage.

These are the best gifts to give Pochacco to farm friendship experience:

Gift

Rating (Hearts)

How to Get

Tofu

1 Heart

Give Hello Kitty a gift, and she’ll give you a block of Tofu as thanks. Depending on the heart-rating of your gift, you’ll get more than one piece of Tofu.

Spinip

1 Heart

Look near the edges of water or use the Snorkel to dive underwater to find them.

Veggie Bread

1 Heart

Combine Flour and a Spinip using the Oven in Hello Kitty’s store.

Veggie Pizza

1 Heart

Combine Dough and a Pumpking or Spinip at the Pizza Oven on Mount Hothead.

Veggie Crepe

2 Hearts

Combine Egg and Pumpkin or Spinip using the Egg Pan (complete “An Egg-cellent Plan” story quest to unlock this).

Everything Pizza

2 Hearts

Combine Dough, Spinip, and Tofu at the Pizza Oven on Mount Hothead.

Pochacco Energy Pop

3 Hearts

Combine a Fizzy Crystal and Spinip and Toasted Almond at the soda machine on Gemstone Mountain.

The 2-Heart and 3-Heart gifts usually require you to upgrade the tools (ie: Oven, Soda Machine, etc) you’re using to cook the food. If you’re still a beginner, you should just give Pochacco Spinips or Tofu. It’ll take a bit longer to level him up, but you’ll reach level 4 without having to unlock several unrelated side quests.

Once Pochacco is level 4, speak to him again to start “A Zipline Adventure” quest. You’ll know if he has the quest ready by the blue exclamation point over his head.

How to Repair Ziplines

After reaching level 4 Friendship with Pochacco, you can speak to him again to start “A Zipline Adventure.” You’ll then need to find Chococat and talk to him about repairing the ziplines. In order to do this, you’ll need x1 Spark, a resource material that can be made from x3 Light Stones.

If you’ve already befriended Kuromi in the Spooky Swamp, then you already know how to get Light Stones. Kurmo will give you Light Stones if you give her a gift she likes. Pumpkins are recommended, but if you have the recipe to make Jack-O-Lanterns, then you should give her those instead. Jack-O-Lanterns are a two-heart gift for Kuromi, meaning you’ll get more Light Stones and friendship points by giving her a Jack-O-Lantern rather than a regular Pumpkin.

When you have x3 Light Stones, use the crafting table to make Spark. Once you have this item, you’ll be directed to the zipline on Seaside Resort. If you set “A Zipline Adventure” to track progress, then you can follow the yellow quest tracker to your destination. The zipline at Seaside Resort connects to Spooky Swamp. Use the Spark to repair the zipline, then take it to Spooky Swamp with Pochacco and Chocoat. Doing this will formally complete “A Zipline Adventure.”
